Update: Back in L&D

Unfortunately, my contractions have just gotten worse as the day went on. They have been consistently every 5 minutes. Some are painful, but my uterus is just sore now.
I'm at the hospital now being monitored. They haven't given me anything because they want to see if the contractions are causing my cervix to dilate. I am a little over a 1 now. Hopefully it doesn't change and I can just go home.
The OB here said she will just give me a sleeping pill to take when I get home to try to sleep off the contractions if they do send me home.

UPDATE: After several more hours of monitoring they checked my cervix and it is not changing. Thank goodness. It is so stressful having so many contractions! They gave me some Ambien (sp?) to help me sleep. The dr said if I sleep long enough, it might make the contractions go away. That sleeping pill gave me crazy hallucinations! I felt so drugged up on it. Almost immediately after I took it. I couldn't walk by the time we got back to our house. It was very strange. Has anyone else had that kind of reaction to Ambien? Anyway, I slept really well. Not for as long as I would have wanted, but I'm still glad I was able to sleep.
I haven't had hardly and contractions today. I feel a lot better. Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. It eases my mind a lot to be able to share with you guys.
