Still pregnant?

I feel like everyone has had there baby... I'm 38weeks today so I still have time but the waiting game is killing me!!!! Every slight pain has me questioning "is this it?" I want him to stay in as along as he needs to but I can't wait to meet him! I'm a first time mom so I don't know what to Expect.

I will agree-it is getting hard to wait when you see all of the exciting birth stories! We will soon have our own!

The Anticipation is killing me!!! I've been having pain for 2 days now the doc said I'm not drinking enough water.... Apparently a gallon of water with a staw in the top isn't Efficient enough.... I just can't wait to meet him, but all the story's on here bring a smile to my face

Actually not even a third of the ladies have had their baby. I am early August (6th) and still have not had LO yet. It may seem that everyone has had their baby but there are a lot that have not.

He is due August11th and my birthday is August 7th so my Nerves are off the wall

I was looking at the inside/outside ratio this morning and was shocked. I feel like we have had WAY more than 22 announcements.

I'm August 1st and still waiting. I wouldn't mind but the false labor things are making me bananas.

I feel like there's been a lot more, too. I was wondering if we're keeping track of the birth announcements from people if they aren't on the spreadsheet. There's been a few from people that aren't on the list, so I feel like that could be why it seems like there are more than the count shows maybe?..

There are more than what the count shows. The list has all the regulars/contributors on there. We have had quite a few drive by's.

It just seems that way, I think a lot of lurkers / people that aren't really active come and post. I still feel like I have a LONG way to go!

There are more than what the count shows. The list has all the regulars/contributors on there. We have had quite a few drive by's.

This is why I hate that you can't see post counts anymore! I recognize most regular posters but feel like there are quite a few who post semi regularly but pregnancy brain is blocking my memory.

Ditto on the amount of announcements.
I am due early august also, 8/5, my sister's EDD was after mine and as of this morning she's been admitted to L&D and baby is on his way. I can't help but feel a little jealous.

I'm due 8/28. I am definitely still pregnant and probably will be for awhile. I feel like its a lifetime away.

I am not quite 37 weeks yet. Although I would love to be due in early August, I'm not. So she isn't ready yet and I shall patiently wait.

There are a ton of ladies who haven't had their babies yet. It's not even August yet! 

And at 38 weeks you could have up to a month left. If you get that time frame in your head it may help you to cope. The average period of gestation for a FTM is 41 weeks 1 day, anyway.

You know what I don't understand about the drive bys? Since they weren't regular posters here anyway why announce here? Why not just go announce on the July board?

Honestly, with as many posts as we've had with 37-38 weekers ending up in the NICU for breathing and feeding troubles, he's welcome to cook until 41 weeks. Yes, I'm kind of over it, but I would MUCH rather have a fully cooked LO.

I am the same way the more I see the posts the more excited I get. That and all these contractions with nothing happening is getting a little old. We are almost there. Soon we will have LOs of our own to snuggle.

It's that he dropped and everybody keeps telling me including my doctor that ill go any day now... The pressure is Insane! I feel like I have to carry my stomach or LO will fall out

With my first, my OB made it sound like as soon as I hit 36 weeks, I was due to go into labor any second. It made the last month really long. DS came at 40w1d.

I just hit 36 weeks today with this LO and I'm anticipating it being another 4 weeks before anything exciting happens. My advice for FTMs would be to block out all the people telling you it will happen early and convince yourself it will be no sooner than your EDD.

This is me too. I'm only 37 weeks today and as exciting as all the birth posts are, I know I have a ways to to before baby is fully ready and I'm more Than happy to wait. My doc even has my induction scheduled for 39 weeks cause my fluid is low but in doing everything can to keep fluid up and hopefully go to my EDD or longer. I would be so scared with an early baby with health problems. I want a chubby healthy baby:)

Yes! I'm not due til 8/13 but the false labor thing is so annoyingly misleading.

I totally agree, the wait is really getting to me! Considering that the original due date we were given was July (JULY!!!!!) 19th and then pushed to August 5th I feel like I've been pregnant forever! Our time will come and it's going to be great. Best of luck!

I'm not due until 8/14. I want my LO to stay in until she is ready. I'm not in rush because once she is here, she is not going anywhere. I'm not saying I'm not excited to meet her, I just know she will be here before I know it. I wanna soak up just a little more time with my DH before we officially go on mommy/daddy duty forever.

Still pregnant over here. I'm a late August person. Just waiting now. We are ready which is nice. Hopefully she stays until her due date... I need the paychecks. But if she comes early that will be fine too. Late... Not so much! Lol!

Due the 15th, fully expecting to go overdue. It's easier for me to expect the worst and hope for the best as far as delivery dates go.

I had so much false labor i was in denial when i actually was in early labor. It took me four hours to finally start timming contractions and another three to call my mw. I was kinda in denial up until i went in for my weekly apt that day

I'm not gonna lie, I  can't help feel a little jealous and I feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever. I'm due 8/2. I can't believe its this Friday! LO will come out when he's ready, but every little twinge or pain keeps me on high alert.

My mom swore I would give birth before the 26th (my last day of work) because LO was already head down since 28 weeks.

Yup, still pregnant seeing as I'm due August 25th and the last time I checked it was still July! The birth announcements are exciting but I'm happy to let my LO cook until he's ready to come out. After all, he's got a chance of being a September baby if I go past my due date. August will be a very unpleasant month if I start whining now about him not being here yet.
