NICU time is almost up!!

I shared previously that our little girl was born via emergency csection at 33.5 weeks on July 10. Well she's been in the NICU ever since to mostly grow and put on some weight...today she passed her car seat challenge after failing twice...and DH and I are currently staying over in our NICU family room with her! She's off all monitors and we're living like a little family in here.

Nursing has been a challenge... if she latches well, I feel like she gets good volume, but I still have to follow-up with a bottle...so pumping and doing feedings with her are getting tiring, but its worth my time to give her my breast milk. Luckily I'm having success with pumping. I plan to continue to work with our LC and get this breastfeeding thing down!!

But anyway...there's a chance she could come home TOMORROW, but if not, Monday. :] It almost feels too good to be true.
