Wrap recommendation

edited July 2013 in Two Under 2
Hi ladies! I went back a few pages and didn't see this asked yet. DS will be turning two the same month this lo is due. I want to use a wrap with this baby so I have free hands to deal with Ds. I have the Ergo carrier for when the baby gets a little bigger but I was wondering if any of you ladies used a wrap and if so, which one was it. TIA!

The moby wrap (and other stretchy wraps) is a great first wrap, because it is stretchy and forgiving. I also really liked having a muslin wrap for the summer. There are lots of wrap choices and if yo ask on the AP board, I'm sure you'll also get some great recommendations.

I used a mo by early on with DS1 before investing in my Girasol woven wrap.. Now I only use the woven.. Giras are great, especially for beginners..! I bought a size 6, which is perfect for font carries, but a bit long for back carries.. I've been using my 6 to do a rebozo carry with DS2 and its wayyy to long, but haven't picked a new shortie yet! Thanks for the suggestions ladies, I'll definitely check them out. I was just looking at the wrap from JJ Cole (sold at BRU). Looks interesting, anyone have experience with them?

I have the Ergo as well but wanted a wrap for those first couple months. I got the K'Tan and liked it a lot! Though I didn't use it as much as I thought.. The baby is very happy in his swing so I'm able to get stuff done around the house or play with DS1 without having to wear DS2.

I used a Maya wrap.  It is a ring sling which made it much faster to put on, a must for me while chasing after the other kids.  The moby took me too long to get on while another kid was running around.  And I figured out how to nurse the baby in it.  LOVED my Maya wrap!
