We have some small vacations coming up and we also need to solve lack of naps when family watches her at their house.
DD doesn't sleep well with out a designated, quiet, sleeping spot. She is in a toddler bed at home and does well and uses a cot at daycare and they says she is good with that as well.
We are looking for something that is easy to travel with for vacations and if it can work for babysitters great! If not then no biggy, her grandma is throwing around the idea of getting her own toddler bed (talk about spoiled right?)
So the ideas:
-Using a pool noodle under the sheet of an extra bed, but I don't know if the sheet will fit on the bed still. I also worry she may just roll right over it since she can be a fairly active sleeper at night.
-Getting those crib rails. This may work for family as well because one grandma has an extra bed and the other grandma still has elemntary school children so she could possibly sleep in their beds. ( their rooms are usually a mess though so I am not sure if that will distract DD)
-Buying a blow up toddler bed or a collapsible toddler sized cot.
What would you do?
TIA And sorry my posts are always so long! I like to talk lol
You will never know how much you mean to me my little jelly Bean.
