4cm anyone?

in August 2013 Moms
had a scan and all that jazz today - and im 4cm but not having any contractions.

he said he can break my waters for me tomorrow or just wait. i chose to wait. so how long can i walk around at 4cm for until im in actual labour?

    For weeks. Being dialated, even 4 cms, is not an indication that labor is soon to come. I'm sorry!

    From what I've read, it doesn't mean much. Except that you didn't have to labour to get 4cms dilated!

    Awhile! My friend walked around at 4cm for a couple weeks. They finally decided to have her come in and break her water when she got up to 6cms (still no contractions). It was insane.

    With my daughter, I was 4 cm for 4 weeks before we stripped my membranes!
