My mom drives me crazy.

My mom never stops with the 'advice.' She seems to think that babies are always cold and she always is trying to put more blankets on DS whenever she is around. I've told her that he gets too hot, but she doesn't listen. she has also suggested pretty much every time we see her that he needs a snow suit. We use a car seat cover or a blanket and a hat. That is enough to go from the house to a heated car. He gets upset if he is too warm and I've told her this. I've also told her it isn't safe to have all that stuff on in the carseat. She doesn't listen.

Today I mentioned that DS was sick and that we're going to the dr. this afternoon. She actually said it was because I don't bundle him up enough. She said "babies need to be kept warm. You shouldn't take him out without a snow suit, thats how they get sick. He is still so little"

Yeah mom, thats it. It has nothing to do with the fact that its cold and flu season or that he was just around tons of people for the holidays, or even DH just being sick, its because he got too cold going from the house to the car. Ugh.

LOL! Oh lordy... my MIL still thinks that people get sick from the cold too. Can we say OWT?! She does a lot of the same stuff. i keep telling her he is fine & she just won't listen. I just ignore her now.
