How far along did you continue....

DH apparently read somewhere that it's suggested that women carrying multiples should not have sex after 20 weeks because of the risk of pre-term labor. So, because I've been way too sick to have sex so far and I'm 14w4d, he's afraid that there's little time left

Did your doc tell you to stop? If so, when and why? If not, how long did you continue to at least attempt sex?

We were never told to stop, but yea... puke dripping out of my nose was so not sexy. I think we might have done it twice? the entire pregnancy. By the time I was about 30w, I was to huge to even try.

We were never told to stop but we only did it once during pg at 8 weeks.

We were never told not to - but seeing as I was on bedrest by 24 weeks, we were done early (I don't think we had sex after finding out it was twins at the 20 week u/s).

We were never told to stop, but we last did it in October-I was about 24 weeks or so.  Now I'm afraid if we do it that I'll go into labor b/c I'm 35 weeks now.  I guess DH will have to hold out a little longer.  Oh well.

We stopped by 28 weeks.  By 30, I could barely get into bed!

I was told not to around 18 weeks (PTL) and had a cerclage in place soon after. However, we did it once around 33 weeks and talk about UNSEXY.

I had to go in-patient at 24 weeks, so it was a loooong time for 6 wks pp to come around!!

My OB never told me to stop; we did it as recently as 35w. (Spooning position is the only thing that works by this point.)

OB recommended "Pelvic Rest" - no sex, no orgasms after week 24 to avoid triggering PTL.

I think about pelvic rest too when DH begs and I push him off another night due to heartburn.  So I have an ultrasound today and who knows how that will ever go so we did it last night.  So far I have not been told a date/time that we have to stop.

I have not been told to stop yet. Although I have a hard time getting comfortable in bed with out being poked so it is few and far between for us but we still do it every once in a while.
