I always want to ask this. At five months, I was barely starting to show. At six months, I was a huge cow. So where exactly in between there will my stomach be?
Haha, sperm whale. Nice. Thanks, Rease, that helps to clarify alot.
My sister is a freak though. She is a " can wear spandex in public" kind of woman and no should ever be compared to her.
yeah, thats bullshit by anyones standards.
just a side note. after i had my 1st baby i had no idea and thought i would fit in my "fat pants" it was a very tight squeeze, made me misserable and i highly recommend staying away from jeans the first week or so. (unless maternity) because they were so tight it pushed on my ute causing more bleeding. ugh.
Word to the wise...even if you THINK you can wear prepg clothes, dont.
From my experience, if you swell at all toward the end, you will probably still be swollen for a week or two also. It was 2-3 weeks before my ankles returned. The women who are naturally very thin and only gain 20 lbs. seem to be back in their clothes within a month. It took me 4-5 to fit into everything again, and that was working my butt off to lose 40 lbs. I left the hospital nearly 20 lbs. lighter, too. Unless you're Heidi Klum and doing a bra runway special 2 minutes after you give birth, I wouldn't worry so much. I have a wedding to be in 1 mo. pp. I convinced the bride (my sister) to go with empire waist dresses just in case.
Re: 5-6 months by who's standards?
i would say (if i had to throw it out there) it will be like not long after you "pop"
it does go down really fast though, especially if you breastfeed.
If you're a huge cow then I'm a sperm whale. Hehe, sperm.
Based on your pic and what your sis looked like after she delivered I'm guessing you'll be fairly small. But seriously, who the hell knows.
