f/u to new bedtime routine

So I ended up telling DH that it would be all him if he wanted to try. So we did the normal stuff and put Oliver in his crib after feeding him. He cried for 25-30 mins.(with DH checking every 5) and then slept til 3:30! I nursed him again and we put him back in bed and he only cried for 5 min and went back to sleep til 7:30! Yay! DH said it was one of the hardest things he's ever done, but I think it will be worth it. Thanks for your support last night!

    Going in every 5 minutes is good at this age if you are going to do something like that.   I think 5 minutes is OK.  Really.  Still hard and it seems like a really long time, but going in every 5 minutes, your baby knows you're there and that you will come when he needs you.    It's OK.  I hope it helps you get some sleep.

    yes, I actually feel pretty rested today. We put a mobile in there for him to look at too, which I think really helped!
