What do you think of the mother?  Do you think she should be punished more severely?  I know her IQ isn't that great, but come on!  I think her community service should have been at least adjusted to things she could do instead of being negated completely.

I read that article a few months ago. It is horrific. My friend's dad is a fire captain. His unit responded to a cardiac arrest call at a trailer park. The trailer floor seemed off, so one of the firemen kept pushing it until it gave way. There were 2 kids in cages under the trailer. They were cross-eyed and could not talk. The captain doesn't know anymore details, if the guy in the trailer lived, etc. So horrid.

I dont care what her IQ level is she should spend 25-50 years in prison.  To take away and neglect a life of a child is serious.

I read this a while ago.  Some days, I feel lazy, but I can't imagine how this could happen.

Its a shame that the system failed so badly in this instance.  Normally I would be the one that would say to just kill her.  But this woman is not totally there.. her IQ shows this.  She needs punishment that's for sure.

The people that adopted Dani... that's amazing.
