I only read some of the replies in your post below so I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this but I have heard for you to open the freezer and let him breathe in some of the cold air. How do they determine it is croup? Is it just the symptoms you describe to them or is there some sort of test they do? I would go with my gut on whether to have them re-evaluate him or not. Mommy's usually know!!!! Hope he feels better soon.

He definitely had croup.  His cough was a bark and so scary.  They did a series of things, but I think the sound of the cough kinda makes it unmistakable.  I think this must be something different.  His cough is not a bark anymore, but just a cough.
