Need shopping help, please

DH needs a hat to wear with his dress coat for work. Right now he is wearing a baseball hat, which looks ridiculous. He was talking about getting a fedora style hat, but I never see anyone under 60 wearing those. In fact, I rarely see men wearing a hat where we live -- I assume more do in colder areas.

What kind of hat do I get?

I think a fedora hat would be awesome...especially if he is younger and trendy he could pull it off, without looking like he is just practicing to be 60.

I see a lot of guys just wearing knit grey hats with their dress coats.

I'm not sure he's cool enough to pull off a fedora -- he's either going to look old, or like a pimp.
