Ear piercing for DD

I just saw someone recommend going to a tattoo or piercing parlor.  That was my second choice as well (first being her pedi who doesn't do it), but none of them around here will touch kids under 10.  Hopefully you'll have better luck in your area.  I would really rather have a needle than a gun, but unfortunately my options are fairly limited.
