Falling and TTC...

My MIL is such a ignorant idiot.  I fell down the steps two days ago (I'm ok, just smacked my head, but I'm ok), and DH happens to tell his mother on the phone last night.  She says, "There goes trying to have a baby this month."  WHAT?!!!!!  First of all, she doesn't even know if we are trying to conceive.  Second, how about, "oh my god, is she ok?"  third, what does that have to do with anything?

That's odd on both accounts. She doesn't know your TTC but guessed it? But, sometimes MILs lack common sense.

Wow, she really thinks that just because you fell your eggs are going to be too badly bruised to use or that your fetus somehow un-implanted.  That is pretty laughable.

No, she has just been wanting us to have a baby since we got married two  years ago.  She's such a pain.

Hmm, yeah, she's weird. Apparently falling on your head makes you not ovulate or makes your egg inviable.

Asshat is the perfect word to describe her.  Apparently the fall made my ovaries too scared to produce, and my eggs are all huddling together to keep safe.  Grrr..
