I agree that the baby's expression is better in #2, but there's just too much going on in #2. ?The focus in #1 is where it should be...their pretty faces! ?The plain red/green is much simpler, & I also like that it's closer-up on the girls.

I agree.  There was something that drew me to #1 but I didn't realize what it was until you said it.  I think the Santa hats would have been cuter with plain red shirts.  With the pink patterned pjs, there's just too much.
