I'm sorry - now for my question

My laptop had a "moment".

Anyway, my 3-year-old just wrote his whole first name on his magnadoodle and I about fell over.  Granted, it's doesn't have the hardest letters in the world and I knew he could do some of them (and he recognizes "T" - the first letter, as "his name"), but I didn't know he could all put them together.

Again, sorry for the muliple postings.  Seeing if I can delete now.

Re: I'm sorry - now for my question

  • Wow - that is impressive.  My DS is nowhere near that.  He knows his name starts with a C, but that's it.

  • Oh -  attribute it wholy to preschool.  We work on letters, but it's school that works on name recognition - they're working on last names now.

I'm trying to get him to do his sister - it's only 3 letters and one is a duplicate (and one is an "I")...

sparky - I did send you an email before...

  • Loading the player...
  • nope. He is no where near it.
  • You did e-mail me?  I didn't get anything.

Let me know when you see this so I can DD the addy.

    Thanks!

    * Edited to remove address.  Thanks again G&T!

  • I saw it.  Let me check - and hope that I can retrieve my sent item because it was long...
  • Hey - I got your message and e-mailed you back.  Thanks again!

  • My oldest DD did (even before age 3) but she was extremely clever that way (her name had 7 letters and not all easy...b, e, y).  The other's...not so much.  More like when they went to Kindergarten (jk..but it was more like they were 4).
