theres my hair before avery was born.  since shes been born, its been in a pony tail with my bangs clipped back.  putting those curls, or straightening it takes too long.

i was saying last night that corrie on paris hiltons BFF had really cute hair on the reunion special ... but i cant find any pics of it! i found a youtube video but not worth doing a screen cap ...

if anyone is a super-googler and can find a pic thatd be great BUT im open to suggestions too

... it needs to be kept a good length.. dh hates short hair, and i still need ponys

... it needs to be super easy... can they do loose-curl perms? do they do perms anymore?

... i cant have long bangs, they give me headaches

... im gonna get some highlights or a lil bit of colour, not a dramatic change... suggestions?

I really love your hair now! But if you want something easier you could just take off just a little length so it's a little less maintenance. Maybe add some reddish highlights?

Honestly, shorter hair can sometimes be more work than long hair.  At least this is my experience.   And I also am hating my short hair right now because of all the static in the winter.

I say keep it the length that it is and get highlights or color done.

I agree with Kriszta. I had short hair for a good portion of college, and adulthood. I grew it out for our wedding, and hated it so much. Cut it off soon after the wedding. But now, I realize how many things I could do with long hair that was quick and easy. With it short, I have fewer options. The catch for me is that my hair is super thick and curly, and the longer it gets, the longer it takes to blowdry. It just depends on what you're willing to do. IMO, if you need a ponytail, you might as well keep it at your shoulders. I think some coppery colored highlights would look really nice. A highlight/lowlight combo might also be nice for the colder months.
