Zipper split on new coat, what are the chances ON will take it back?

I don't have a receipt, but it seriously has been worn once and then the stupid zipper split. What do you think my odds are that they will let me exchange?

I have taken back stuff that didn't wash well/ fell apart quickly with no receipt and no problems.

Go buy another one and return the broken one with the new receipt!

ON is usually good about taking things back. If they refuse, do what Jamaica says. Buy a new one, then go back the next day and return the old one with the new receipt.

I had the same thing happen with jeans.  Just be prepared to get the lowest price.
