2nd Trimester

LARPing=Live Action Role Playing

How do I know this? I watch Frisky Dingo on Adult Swim of course. It's kinda like what they do at RenFaire only more nerdy.

    My advice would be to get a better hobby. Especially one that doesn't include people pointing and laughing at how ridiculous they look. Cajun has spoken.

  • Nicely put, cajun.  So we can assume you won't be training your baby to be a professional larper?

  • I probably shouldn't admit to knowing this but...

    One of the geeks from Beauty and the Geek was a LARPer - I think he may have won that season.

  • I don't larp, but the local gaming store has a HUGE larp group. I always avoid it because there are way too many people there and I don't like crowds.
  • Eh, don't knock it till you've tried it. It's just kinda like improv. theater. You get a character and act out a story.

     Done it a couple times with friends in college.

    Frankly, it's more fun than a lot of stupid sh!t people do, like yelling at a tv screen during [ fill in sport ] season or boxing/football, etc.
