Upcoming Appointments: had a midwife appt today, next appt is 12/2 for our home visit
How are you feeling? Exhausted. So sore. Bad acid reflux at night no matter what I eat.
Rants/Raves: I'm just done dealing with people outside of my immediate family. Truly wish I could just hibernate until the baby is here. Also starting to stress about visitors before and after delivery. Some I am worried won't make it before (my sisters) and some I just feel kind of ugh about.
A good thing though, I have been looking for some Christmas type jammies for this baby thats not too girly and frilly. Came across these. Little geese!! 😍😍 going to pair with this little bonnet, possibly adding a little bow. So excited!

I hit 35wks yesterday. Per tradition I pulled out the same shirt to take a bump comparison picture. 35wks with all 8 of my babies!

Baby flipped! Quite easily… too easily actually haha. So there’s a chance he could flip back. I am stressed lol. Now they’re talking about possible induction on Monday (39 weeks) bc they would rather get him out while he’s head down than wait for me to go in to labor (and him possibly be breech)… if he does go back to breech, another ECV could be in the cards. Who knows. Feels like every single option is available right now which is almost more stressful than being limited.

How are you feeling? Beyond exhausted on so many levels. Emotionally, physically, socially. Keep getting bad Charlie horses, BH, and bad swelling from overdoing it. RLP and sciatica are kicking my butt. Hips, public bone, and tailbone are constantly popping and aching... I'm so ready for December....
Rants/Raves: I'm just done. I've been to an out of state wedding, a bunch of MIL drama, goddaughter was baptized, counseling a couple, have a ton of preserves and apple butter to make, a big birthday party to help with, hosting Thanksgiving, then another Birthday party, and so many small projects to get through before this baby comes... I just want to go into hermit mode and not deal with anything or anyone until after this baby comes...

GTKY: What’s been the best deal you’ve snagged on a baby item (on sale, marketplace, for free)? Truthfully we haven't bought much. My favorite pieces are the duck blankets.

Girly is moving a ton, not necessarily painful but feel like I’m being pushed or stretched in every direction and it’s getting uncomfortable. But she gets most of her wiggles out during the day and let’s me sleep at night 🙌🏽

There’s a local baby / children’s consignment store near me that carries a lot of name brand baby items at decent-ish prices. I am trying to hold off on buying too many extra clothes until she’s born so I don’t wind up with extra clothes that don’t fit / are not the right season. Y’all inspired me to join a Buy Nothing page though

How are you feeling? Tired, back is hurting, anxious cause of work and not being able to really nest yet. Feeling very unprepared. 😬😖😵😵💫
Rants/Raves:
Rants - body aches are ramping up and I’m so tried at work. Need to nap during the day but I’m in the office so not feasible. Feeling like DH is oblivious to my anxiety and what we are in for when LO debuts.
Raves - thankfully I stocked up on vacation time and have about two weeks that I can take before Mat leave. Also did not think about it but I have sick time which I barely use. Can start using that as well! 😉 spoke to my OB last week during routine check up and asked for a physical therapist (PT) recommendation (was recommended I ask from a coworker that gave birth about 18 months ago). So have to start looking for one that is in my network.
Questions:
Have anyone used a PT specifically while pregnant for back and pelvic pain, was it helpful? Any advice on picking one besides being in network? I never, until now, went / sought to visit a PT so I’m very green.

Free bedside bassinet though I’m leery of the “mattress” from local Buy Nothing Group. The bassinet is clean and I rewashed the removable items myself recently. But the “mattress” portion is literally a 2” piece of yellow foam on top of a 1/4” plastic corrugated board. Currently looking to get a newton mattress to replace the foam and have piece of mind that that baby is not inhaling the fumes from the foam that is currently there. Also, maybe it’s just my pregnant brain but the foam smells chemically to me.
I have a once upon a child near me and never been inside since falling pregnant. Last time I stepped foot in there was 2 years ago but did not see much baby gear, though I wasn’t seeking out baby items at the time either. I’ll give it another go over the weekend if I muster up the energy after working all week. 😮💨

Upcoming Appointments: earlier today, then next week it’s going DOWN (if it doesn’t happen by then) … Monday is routine checkup, Tuesday is BPP ultrasound, & Thursday is induction scheduled for 41w juuuust in case!
How are you feeling? So relieved. We went into this week with some artificial pressure for a timeline from a few different sources and left my appointment today at peace with the next 10 days.
Rants/Raves: There’s a lot to the story but basically I’ve been able to lean into my intuition against trying extra things to start labor and ultimately supported (by my doctor, husband, & doula) when I’ve spoken up. Baby and I are healthy, is the biggest thing. MH and I are good in the wait, ready for baby when she’s ready to come, but also have a good plan for if she’s not here by next week.

We scored a free dresser top changing pad holder off of our local Buy Nothing page—such a niche item that seemed way expensive when I researched it just to have a designated place for us to change her downstairs where our room is, so free was all I was willing to pay lol.
