R/R: rant: DS woke up at 4am crying because he threw his paci out of the crib. I asked DH to go get it. He was in there for like 10 minutes, he took DS out of the crib and turned on the light. I though maybe DS had pooped so he was changing him. No- he comes in our room with DS and is like "I can't find it". So I get out of bed, look under the crib and there it is. I was so annoyed. Like did you even look? DH is a smart guy but sometimes I wonder.
CS/Q: I've been super crampy the last few days which makes me feel like I'm out but I never get crampy until AF shows. I'm SS hard and I don't like it.
GTKY: What is your dream job? I wish I could stay at home! I never thought I would be the type but I really just want to stay at home with babies and puppies.
@Brooklyngirl6 did you get any sleep after 4am? I'll watch DH look for something in the pantry or fridge and tell me it's not there and I'll just silently stare at him until he figures it out.
Month/Cycle: 1/1 (again, first O since August after Paraguard when we really wanted to start trying)
CD/DPO: 17/6
Timing: -4, -2, 0 --> does the evening of O even count?
Testing: Sunday I'm thinking
R/R: Made turkey noodle soup out of leftover Thanksgiving turkey for dinner last night. It was actually delicious and didn't seem like a leftover at all.
CS/Q: My temp went up again today which makes me think I did something wrong, but I don't have any previous ovulatory cycles to compare to. I also really. want. to .stop. temping. but I'm addicted or obsessed or both.
GTKY: What is your dream job? I always wanted to work on camera in an infotainment or sports capacity. After interning and seeing the real deal and the struggle, my hopes got shattered. I work in live TV operations now and handle logistics and talent management. It's great, but not conducive to raising kids (extremely travel oriented). Now I am trying to figure out a career change so we can have a family. Never thought I'd have to feel like a kid again and figure out what I want to do!
Hi Ladies! Sorry I went AWOL for a while. TTCing after 1 year has its ups and downs, I do my best to save my sanity and stay optimistic. I think the latter is very important. Also, reading up on fertility testing and so, because comes January that is what we are going to do.
Month/Cycle: 14/9-10 that counts
CD/DPO: 22/4
Timing: -3, -1, +1 (AM)
Testing: I'm going away for the weekend with some friends, there is likey to be wine drinking involved. So I guess I'll test on Saturday before leaving just for .. IDK. If it's negative, I might take a sip of wine at night, cause I've already missed so much of these, hoping in vain. But probably my dreamy self will win and I won't drink anyway :P
R/R: Well, see above :P I try to keep up with everyone's journey here, so I did lurk and "love". So sorry but posting prove to be difficult sometines. Was happy to hear good news and improvements with many of you Anyhow. I am trying to divert my attention more to fitness that I love, so did several excellent workout in the past week or so, diving it it with my workout buddies I think I might have even made progress (I started crossfit about 6 months ago and one of my main goals at this point is to do a decent pull up).
CS/Q: My chart has been whacky this cycle. My post O temps are not as high as they usually are. Do you think it can be because I'm a bit sick (sore throat, runny nose etc)? I'll try to attach chart later from mobile. I've been much more consistent with temp timing this cycle
GTKY: What is your dream job? Oh, it would probably be somting regarding fitness. Not solely a trainer position, rather managing my own little fitness asylum with trainers and professionals from all related fields (nutrition, psychology and training rolled into a nice package). --- Well you did say DREAM job
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
@Flinstone Don't worry if your temps keep going up. (I looked at your chart and it looks perfectly normal.) Check out some examples of triphasic charts online. It's not unusual to see this. They can be a sign of pregnancy (though -- not to be a downer -- I have gotten triphasic charts multiple times with no BFP).
@Anna_1021 Hugs, we totally get the time off. If you post your chart later I'd be happy to CS.
R/R: I made leftover turkey into avocado toast for breakfast, yum!
CS/Q:
GTKY: I'd love to do program evaluation internally for a government agency, like the FBI or CIA. Are the tactics the FBI uses effective? Is the CIA causing the impacts we intend? Think how fascinating that job would be, not to mention how rewarding.
Sorry about the P&G yesterday...an annoying lady at work was bugging me to get her stuff done all day, and then we finally put the tree up and decorated and it took forever...
@Brooklyngirl6 - sometimes men miss things right in front of their face.
Month/Cycle: 9/7
CD/DPO: 19/7
Timing: EOD
Testing: I will not test. I will not test. I will not test. It's starting to get harder to not test this week. I hid my tests, so that should help.
R/R: It took all my strength not to be gloat-y last night when the tree stand I wanted took 2 seconds to put up and avoided all the difficult things DH's kept having. But I didn't. DH didn't help put the lights on, and while I was doing it he said "Thanks for doing that, I really hate it." Yeah...everyone does, it hurts and is sticky and takes forever walking around the tree. I'm not doing it because I like it...help me. Anyway, it seems I'm way more into decorating than him, which is fine because then I get to put the decorations how I want. And at work, I figured out something that was difficult with the project I've been working on, so that's moving forward and is awesome.
CS/Q: Nada.
GTKY: What is your dream job? I really would love @Anna_1021 idea of a fitness asylum. I would also love to just stay home and take care of house/family. Right now my realistic dream job is a remote business analyst...that's what I was doing before, and now that we're in the middle of no-where remote would be perfect. Plus, it would give us a lot of flexibility when we have a family.
@adiratI love avocado toast. Sounds awesome with turkey! Extra protein.
@KhRun17 Yay for figuring out he problem at work! It's such a great feeling.
Edit: Finishing post. Mobile was being dumb and trying to tag everything.
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 23/9
Timing: -3, -2, 0
Testing: Sorry Dec. 1st pee pact. I caved and tested and of course it's a BFN. My LP is 11-13 days so AF should be here by Saturday.

R/R: ugh. I felt like crap last night with a headache/upset stomach, etc. still have the headache this morning and haven't taken any Tylenol yet. Went to bed at 8:45pm and I only got to see one quarter of my Packers play. At least they WON!!
CS/Q: why OF COURSE I would get my HIGHEST TEMP EVER this morning. Too bad it doesn't mean squat.
GTKY: What is your dream job? I would really like to be a chef, but the hours are terrible. If I could make my own hours, I'd probably say that.

Me: 31 DH: 32 Dating since: 11/17/2001 Married: 9/26/2009 TTC: June 2016
R/R: I woke up this morning feeling like I'm already out for this cycle. My temps are dropping, and I went from being happy and excited yesterday to feeling like I stepped into the abyss. In a random side note, I've had some trouble with body image this past year- I had a baby, lost all the weight, but then I gained about 20lb back afterwards due to not working out as much, moving, new job, etc etc etc. DH showed me something on his Tumblr yesterday, and I ended up on his main feed afterwards. It was all boobs (not shocking, he's a boob guy). Skinny, pretty women with great racks. Porn doesn't bother me, but seeing all these posts from accounts that he follows filled with this stuff took something out of me, and I could barely look at him this morning. I'm sure I'll be fine, but right now it just feels like a gut punch.
CS/Q: Meh. Temps are going downhill.
GTKY: What is your dream job? When I was young, it was to be a doctor. Younger, an ice skater like Kristi Yamaguchi. Now, I really love my job as a scientific researcher, but I'd love to have a forest ranger position.
@adirat DPO buddy! I have short(ish) LP too, AF is due on Tuesday, so my first realistic testing would be on Tuesday/Wednesday.. but as I mentioned I'll probably POAS on saturday just for sake of mind before I leave with the girls.
@virginiaham@Brooklyngirl6 I'm so there with you. In our household there is just a distant "Hooooneeeey...." sounding somewhere in the house and I know he is looking for something. Unsuccessfully :P
@KhRun17 Happy that the treestand worked. Read about your struggles yesterday. Hs can be stubborn that way :P As of not testing: I've managed to locate some very sensitive tests (they are difficult to find around here for some reason) so I keep telling myself that I should treasure them, not just "pee it away" But your last sentiment made my day: "I hid my tests, so that should help." So good I'm not alone
I'll attach my chart in a sec, please everyone feel free to CS. My difficulty with my temps as in my original post of today:

CS/Q: Open circles are from drinking and sleeping well past my normal temping time. I tried adding high temps the next few days but I still don't get solid CH GTKY: What is your dream job? To own my own bakery. That way I could go in whenever I feel like and making cookies, pie, bread or whatever I feel like that day.
@Starla hugs for your BFN. I would have caved too if I had brought tests on my work trip. TBH I might chicken out and not test if AF hasn't shown up before 12/1
@BertieMeetsGertie I was googling if advil was okay to take during TWW because I've had a monster headache. I saw on some "other" boards advice to "exercise for 15 min and drink water for 15" to get rid of headache naturally (hmmmm). I had already taken the advil at lunch so I really shouldn't have been googling anyway.

R/R: Rant: last month my cycle was 26 days so I am very nervous to check every time I go to bathroom or feel any random symptom. (SS to the max!) Rave: After a long day of running around for work I will get to see one of my bffs from college for trivia night!
CS/Q: No questions, but feel free to stalk. I have been very religious about going to bed around the same time and temping at the same time for the past week. Wish I had done it like this earlier in my cycle!
GTKY: What is your dream job? Translating French literature into English

@bertiemeetgertie I went to bed at half time! Happy to wake up and see they won! I have been having the worst headaches in the evening and going to bed so early. I also had my highest temp ever today!! @virginiaham that's super early to test! Same to you @starla I'm sorry and FX it'll change with time!! @adirat I looked up triphasic, but definitely not thinking too positively in the "sign of pregnancy" direction. Thanks for the info!
@Brooklyngirl6 Ugh, mine is the same. I am always miraculously finding things that he "looked everywhere" for. @Anna_1021 I'm sorry things have been difficult. Hugs to you. Adding, sickness definitely affected my temps in a previous cycle because I had fevers off and on and my sleep was disrupted, so I would say yes. @adirat I think the CIA stuff does seem fascinating, and I cannot even imagine doing something like that as a job! That would be crazy. It reminds me in high school I had a real interest in becoming an FBI profiler (before it was the subject of TV shows lol). That stuff is so interesting, and I love the psychological aspect. @BertieMeetsGertie Sorry for the BFN!
Month/Cycle:
5/5
CD/DPO:
24/8
Timing:
O
Testing:
We'll see. Depends on tomorrow's temp.
R/R:
I feel like the dreary weather is already having an affect on my mood and we're only just past Thanksgiving, bleh!
CS/Q:
Well, had a nice high temp yesterday and it dropped today. Not a ton, still well above cover line, but it's 8dpo, and I start to feel hopeless when my temp drops at all at this point, especially since we only HIO 1x. Next cycle will be number 6, which I know is nothing for so many couples but it's the point where we'd be advised to start looking into it due to our ages, and I'm pretty sure DH is not wanting to get into a bunch of things to make this happen. With DS it happened so easily (2 cycles, I know, incredibly lucky), but that was 6 years ago. It just feels like more "now or never" pressure because we will not be going to great lengths to do this. Sorry for the long vent, can't really talk to anyone IRL about this issue.
GTKY: What is your dream job? My dream job would be NO job! I'd love to just be able to do what we want and travel when we want without worrying about vacation time and schedules, etc. I don't get fulfillment from a job. Out of necessity however, my "dream job" would be something with a great company that values its employees, good benefits, good pay, in the field I am about to transition to. I'd be happy with that.
@ChefRamsay Big hugs for you, hope you'll end this cycle with a BFP so the universe can get back into balance As of chart stalk: I'm really not an expert, but the O date seems legit to me. Maybe it's CH because of the lack of other signs line EW cm or an OPK. For me it gace solid lines when other signs were involved. (If you already knew that wich is likely now that I think about is, sorry for the empty comment:)
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
R/R: I have a 12 day LP. Which means today's the day. Holding my breath, and hoping AF doesn't show. Ive been crampy, so have minimal hope (but was woken in the night 7DPO with bad cramps), so flopping back and forth with a little bit of hope, to none (repeat that in my head 39373524x a day)
CS/Q: Not temping after O
GTKY: What is your dream job? Probably a NICU nurse. Spent a lot of time in the NICU with my niece, and I think they're such heros.
@BertieMeetsGertie Sorry about the BFN @Brooklyngirl6 sounds like my H. It's in front of his face, and he still can't find it. My dad is the same way, and drives my mom crazy with it. @ColoradoHiker be kind to yourself - you carried a baby not to long ago. I would have a conversation with your H - don't keep those feelings to yourself.
@ColoradoHiker I think most women would react the same way. Have you told him that it upset you? As for losing weight, it sounds like you've gone through some stressful times (moving, new job, etc.). Don't be so hard on yourself. Maybe you can focus on being healthy and taking care of yourself for now, rather than being a certain weight. When you're ready, you can start making bigger changes and getting back to working out. Creepy internet hugs.
@ChefRamsay Oh I forgot about owning my own bakery! Can I change my answer?
I'm also adding another rant. Sorry, ladies, I'm having a rough couple days. The previous 2 days I had watery/creamy CM. Today I am dripping with watery/EW CM... What the actual ef?! I got positive OPK on CD14 for the first time this cycle using a new brand. Now I'm wondering what the hell is going on and whether I didn't actually O on CD14. BFN this morning and breaking out like my usual AF symptoms so not SS, just getting really frustrated and feeling defeated because I can't figure out my body.

R/R: Guys! I got the job!!!!! I got a verbal offer last night
and I expect a written one today. The salary is slightly better than my current
so the outstanding questions are about health insurance and maternity leave. If
it’s not spelled out in the written offer I’ll have to ask about the details of
the maternity leave: is it available during the first 12 months? Is it
paid/unpaid? I also plan to try to talk to someone about what IF diagnosis and
treatments are covered by their health insurance.
While I’m sad this wasn’t my month I’m glad the timing worked
out so that I can make these decisions knowing for sure that I am not pregnant.
I think I’m going to accept the offer even if leave isn’t available for the
first year and we’d have to TTA for a while. It’s hard to think about, but this
job is 45 minutes CLOSER to my house than my current job and has a lot more
work-from-home flexibility. I think those things would be better for my family
in the long run.

@daisymae6215 I also worked at a bakery shortly after HS. I loved everything about it Except waking up at 3am in order to have donuts ready by 5 when we opened.
Thanks to everyone that helped me out with my chart yesterday! AF showed up today so I am moving over to WTO. Still not positive if I had a 12 day luteal phase or an 18 day one, but either way, on to the next cycle!
Testing: nope, I dont have any tests left, so if AF is late, I will go out and buy one.
R/R: Its only Tuesday, I woke up thinking it was way later in the week, and that put me in a funk I think. I could not for the life of me, pick an outfit this morning, the first two things I put on my DH was like "uh those things dont match!" and then I kept locking my car trying to get into it. I feel off. I am looking forward to this weekend though, I am going out christmas shopping and hoping to finish it!

R/R: I cannot figure out exactly what has set me off, but this cycle has been especially rough emotionally for some reason. I have been in such a funk that I just cannot seem to get out of. DH and I opted not to tell anyone that we were TTC, and I am now kind of starting to regret that because I kind of feel like I'm in this on my own. I really just wish I could have a chance to let it all out.

GTKY: What is your dream job? Deep inside I always wanted to act, even though I know I am way too shy for that to ever happen.
@BertieMeetsGertie I fell asleep at halftime so I missed it too but SO glad we finally won!
@Pinky917 Hugs. Cycle 7 is a tough one for whatever reason. It has helped me to pick a couple people I trust and tell them, especially when I'm feeling stressed (for instance I'm worried about my upcoming pelvic MRI and it was so nice to tell a friend who validated my fear and gave me a big hug). I haven't told everyone but it's a big secret to keep, especially when it has such an emotional toll. Maybe try one person you think will understand?
R/R: Had to talk my self off the testing ledge this morning. DH is gone on a business trip until late Friday night. The one bright side is if I do get KU this cycle I can surprise him!
@Pinky917 Hugs for you. Some cycles are just more difficult than others. I second that maybe letting someone who you trust in the know could help. We shared it with a couple of friends and even though I don't usually talk about it, but having the opportunity to do so helps me sometimes when I feel down. So hey girl, it's never too late

R/R:Just worried. I live in East TN about an hour and a half from the huge wildfire in Gatlinburg. I can't believe how much of it is gone.
CS/Q: I've stopped BBT. With 10 month DS and getting up with him in the middle of the night, I feel like bbt is worthless for me. I was using opk and it was very clear O on day 11. I have pcos and my cycles are usually 45+ days. Am I the only one that thinks that's an early O?
GTKY: What is your dream job? I thought I had it teaching kindergarten. But with DS and hopefully more, I'd love to stay home.
@Brooklyngirl6 I feel your pain! What should be an easy paci rescue turns into an ordeal!
@Starla sorry for the BFN, it's so hard not to test!
Me: 31 DH: 40 Married 2012 TTC #2 since July 2016 PCOS diagnosed 2008
R/R: ended up seeing rent last night as someone had some extra tickets. It was a nice surprise.
CS/Q: temp came back down a bit and is right in line with my average...
GTKY: What is your dream job? I have it now...
@brooklyngirl6 I have the same struggles with DH... i would be frustrated he turned the light on and picked the baby up since that makes it harder to get them back to sleep! @flinstone your chart looks great, your not messing anything up @khrun17 good job not gloating! @starla and @bertiemeetsgertie sorry for the BFNs @coloradohiker body image post baby is not something that is talked about much. Especially when you see all of these celebrities 4 weeks after a baby with skinny toned bodies....its incredibly unrealistic. you body changes so much and even if you do get back to your pre-baby weight things are not the same as they used to be. I am still ~15lbs heavier than I was prior to getting KTFU and sometimes struggle with body image. I try to tell myself that my body did hard, amazing work and i'm proud of what it produced and its ok for it to look different... though I struggle to fully accept that message. I would talk to your DH, it will likely be uncomfortable but husbands often don't pick up on subtle things and if we don't tell them something is bothering us how do we expect them to know or do something about it. You are beautiful, your body grew and birthed a life, its not meant to be the same. Hugs
@anna_1021 maybe your open mouth breathing... but your temps are still good I wouldn't stress. Forrest not trees @ChefRamsay your not getting solid CH because your secondary signs arn't lining up with the temp shift... @vegetalienne those are some steady temps girl! @alysapuggles hugs @Ohemgee fx so hard
@swimsister CONGATS!!! that is amazing news. This job sounds so good, with more flexibility and a shorter commute!

@adirat - fx for a longer LP! @BertieMeetsGertie@Starla - sorry for the BFN's fx it's too soon. @ColoradoHiker - yikes, I would talk to H too... that's frustrating! @vegetalienne - I had a monster headache on Thanksgiving and when DH went to the store I made him get Tylenol so during TWW I feel better about it if I need something. @Ohemgee - FX for you today! Hopefully no AF. @swimsister - YAY!!!! New job! So happy for you!!!! @daisymae6215 - omg yes, SAHM and selling crafts! I just crocheted my first ever thing and it's a sock-monkey hat for my step niece for Christmas, and I'm really proud of it! Maybe I'll post a pic tomorrow once I attach the ears. @Pinky917 - DH and I aren't telling anyone we're TTC either. However... *TW* When I had an early MC in May I was spending 2 weeks with DH and 2 week away, and the MC happened during the away time, so I told a friend when we went out that I had just had an MC and so she's known since.** I never have told DH that I talk to her about it, but sometimes having a girl to talk to makes a difference... bad to have this secret from him, I know. He doesn't want to hear TTC drama I have, so I need someone to talk to about it.
Re: TWW Tuesday
GTKY: What is your dream job? I wish I could stay at home! I never thought I would be the type but I really just want to stay at home with babies and puppies.
Month/Cycle: 1/1 (again, first O since August after Paraguard when we really wanted to start trying)

Timing: -5, -2, +1
Testing: Monday/10dpo if my LP lasts that long
R/R: I made leftover turkey into avocado toast for breakfast, yum!
CS/Q:
GTKY: I'd love to do program evaluation internally for a government agency, like the FBI or CIA. Are the tactics the FBI uses effective? Is the CIA causing the impacts we intend? Think how fascinating that job would be, not to mention how rewarding.
@Brooklyngirl6 - sometimes men miss things right in front of their face.
Month/Cycle: 9/7
GTKY: What is your dream job? I really would love @Anna_1021 idea of a fitness asylum. I would also love to just stay home and take care of house/family. Right now my realistic dream job is a remote business analyst...that's what I was doing before, and now that we're in the middle of no-where remote would be perfect. Plus, it would give us a lot of flexibility when we have a family.

@virginiaham @Brooklyngirl6 I'm so there with you. In our household there is just a distant "Hooooneeeey...." sounding somewhere in the house and I know he is looking for something. Unsuccessfully :P
@KhRun17 Happy that the treestand worked. Read about your struggles yesterday. Hs can be stubborn that way :P As of not testing: I've managed to locate some very sensitive tests (they are difficult to find around here for some reason) so I keep telling myself that I should treasure them, not just "pee it away" But your last sentiment made my day: "I hid my tests, so that should help." @BertieMeetsGertie I was googling if advil was okay to take during TWW because I've had a monster headache. I saw on some "other" boards advice to "exercise for 15 min and drink water for 15" to get rid of headache naturally (hmmmm). I had already taken the advil at lunch so I really shouldn't have been googling anyway.

@adirat I looked up triphasic, but definitely not thinking too positively in the "sign of pregnancy" direction. Thanks for the info!

@BertieMeetsGertie Sorry for the BFN!
Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD/DPO: 24/8
Timing: O
Testing: We'll see. Depends on tomorrow's temp.
R/R: I feel like the dreary weather is already having an affect on my mood and we're only just past Thanksgiving, bleh!
CS/Q: Well, had a nice high temp yesterday and it dropped today.
GTKY:
What is your dream job? My dream job would be NO job! I'd love to just be able to do what we want and travel when we want without worrying about vacation time and schedules, etc. I don't get fulfillment from a job. Out of necessity however, my "dream job" would be something with a great company that values its employees, good benefits, good pay, in the field I am about to transition to. I'd be happy with that.
Me: 36 DH: 41
As of chart stalk: I'm really not an expert, but the O date seems legit to me. Maybe it's CH because of the lack of other signs line EW cm or an OPK. For me it gace solid lines when other signs were involved. (If you already knew that wich is likely now that I think about is, sorry for the empty comment:)
Married: May 2015
TTC since September 2015
GTKY: What is your dream job? Probably a NICU nurse. Spent a lot of time in the NICU with my niece, and I think they're such heros.
@BertieMeetsGertie Sorry about the BFN
@Brooklyngirl6 sounds like my H. It's in front of his face, and he still can't find it. My dad is the same way, and drives my mom crazy with it.
@ColoradoHiker be kind to yourself - you carried a baby not to long ago. I would have a conversation with your H - don't keep those feelings to yourself.

@Flinstone Your temps look great! Don’t let the BSC get to you. Yes, anytime on O day counts.
@ColoradoHiker I’m sorry you’re not feeling like your best self right now. Do something special, just for you, today. You’re worth it.
@vegetalienne Wow! Your chart is so pretty!
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD/DPO: 28/14
Timing: -2, O, +1
Testing: AF tomorrow.
R/R: Guys! I got the job!!!!! I got a verbal offer last night and I expect a written one today. The salary is slightly better than my current so the outstanding questions are about health insurance and maternity leave. If it’s not spelled out in the written offer I’ll have to ask about the details of the maternity leave: is it available during the first 12 months? Is it paid/unpaid? I also plan to try to talk to someone about what IF diagnosis and treatments are covered by their health insurance.
While I’m sad this wasn’t my month I’m glad the timing worked out so that I can make these decisions knowing for sure that I am not pregnant. I think I’m going to accept the offer even if leave isn’t available for the first year and we’d have to TTA for a while. It’s hard to think about, but this job is 45 minutes CLOSER to my house than my current job and has a lot more work-from-home flexibility. I think those things would be better for my family in the long run.

It has helped me to pick a couple people I trust and tell them, especially when I'm feeling stressed (for instance I'm worried about my upcoming pelvic MRI and it was so nice to tell a friend who validated my fear and gave me a big hug).
