R/R: Rant: I have a closing shift at work today and I am not sure how well it will go. Shifts have been a bit unpredictable lately but I am going to keep my hopes up with it. Rave: The week is 1/2 way done!

DH and I are big hockey fans so I would have to say that my sport would be hockey and the team name would be either the Wisconsin Ice Hounds or Wisconsin Puck Hounds. The mascot would be a mean looking blue (color) Blue Tick Hound with a puck in his mouth and a hockey stick in his hand. Team colors would be blue and silver with maybe a little gold.

And not girls dressed in lingerie. But something people watched because the girls were good, not because they were tackling each other while scantily dressed. Neither DH or I are big sports fans. If I were to own a professional sports team it would have to be equestrian. In that case your horse is your mascot and your team colours are usually that of your country.

No idea. Our tri-state area has so many sports teams as it is that I'm not sure what mascot is left. PS Giants and Jets play in NJ, not NY!!! It would be funny to have a team named the Stallions since our state animal is the horse and people joke about Jersey Italians calling themselves Italian Stallions a la Jersey Shore and RHONJ.
@MommytoM13 What was today's OPK like? It is a rise, but it wouldn't be above what I could see as a cover line yet. I think you will see a rise near 98 degrees when you O.
@purplg8r I hope your conferences go smoothly. Ours are in two weeks and can go until 8:40 pm. In my experience, people are always late and want to go over their allotted time. We have kids who have volunteered to knock on the door when time is up and I put my phone near the door with the timer on so I have to get up and go... and still people don't listen! It's always frustrating on top of being tired and hungry. PS our winter ones have been on Valentine's Day and my birthday before. Those stink even more since it's dark and freezing when we leave.

@lulu1180 I've wondered about that question lately too. I've been tracking my cycles for 3 years (not temping and stuff, just when it starts and ends and spotting). Before we started TTC, I only counted spotting when I saw it externally (wiping or on undies) because I had no reason to dig around internally (I'm not THAT person). I thought I would try to remain consistent with what I've always done but I decided to start when I first see it, whether that be internally or externally. I plan to ask my dr about it next month.

They are coming mostly to see their grandkids who live across town, but they will feel guilty for that and insist on seeing me some too. This weekend is my birthday and I already have plans and would rather not hang out with them so now I have to try to convince them that I know they aren’t coming to town to actually see me and it’s fine if they leave me alone.

I’m going to go with soccer because I already think some of their mascots/colors/names are ridiculous. I think my mascot would be a raccoon (but called a trash panda, because that is my favorite nickname for raccoons) and our color would be teal simply because I want it to be.

I have been cramping for about a week and a half thinking AF is just around the corner and then... nothing.

It would definitely be a football team since that is the only sport I care to watch. The mascot would probably be a penguin because 1) They are my favorite animal and 2) It would make no sense as a football mascot. You usually see Penguins for hockey teams and I think it would be funny.

R/R: I had to trigger last night, first time, and I get allergy shots so I'm no stranger to a needle, but it's not like I give myself the shot, so I honestly spent a good two minutes in my bathroom last night psyching myself up to give this shot. And of course it was completely painless so I got all freaked out for nothing and felt stupid. And then I felt weird the rest of the night and couldn't sleep.
Oh, and this from the "shit my SO says" file: Last night H was talking about his schedule for Thursday, and how he'd go to some company meet up if it weren't for "having to drive to [city] for this IUI shit." I was concentrating on something else so I didn't immediately register what he said, but when I realized a few seconds later what he had said I felt incredible rage because his entire role in the IUI will be dropping off his sperm at the clinic. He won't even be there for the actual thing. I feel like every conversation about this process is one step forward, two steps back, because I've explained the insane amount of shit I have to endure for this, and his relative light lift, and he understands for the duration of the conversation but he never seems to remember beyond that.

CS/Q: Not totally sure what my temps are doing! I usually get a drop right before O, and then a slowish rise but its always pretty clear when I O'd based on my temps. Well if I go off that this month, I O'd 4 days ago, but I dont have CH and I just started getting ewcm and a positive opk yesterday. I am pretty sure I am Oing today, because I usually turn my opk for 2-3 days, and FF always gives me CH in the middle of that, plus based on all the secondary signs it makes sense. Just wondering what my temps are doing.

Im really not into sports, but I feel like if my husband and I took one on, it would be Track and Field. Its the only sport we both did in high school, and the only one we kinda follow. While I have never played the sport, I really enjoy watching it (largely because it is ridiculous). Since I was sorted into Ravenclaw on Pottermore, my team would be inspired by that house.
