@JennyV56 can you post your chart so we can take a look? Also, getting a BFP at 6 weeks is probably for someone who ovulated late.

I googled 'Negative tests and late period' and some people said they didn't get a BFP until week 6!! If that's the case it'll all be worth the wait, but I better start spreading my tests out to every 4/5 days!
Lurking from WTO
@JennyV56 This is not really something that happens... I don't want you to get your hopes up that it's normal to not get a BFP until week 6. If you're getting negative tests after 15dpo, it most likely means you actually aren't 15dpo (unless your LP is typically 15-16 days). Do you know when you ovulated for sure? How did you track O?

@BitterBetty12@beary67 I'll post my chart but sadly I'm embarrassed to post because it's such a mess. Just to note: I think my thermometer was a POS. I feel like the entire month was inconclusive because of it. I was getting 3 different numbers in a row every morning (at the same time without moving) and usually went with the first and just noted the second two.
My temps did go up but didn't stay up after what I think was my O date based on opks. I finally just gave up and ordered a $30 one from Amazon, which arrived 2 days ago so I started temping again-getting perfectly consistent temps. So-if you can get anything out of it I'd love to hear it.
ETA: my time of day wasn't perfect but pretty consistent in general, I discarded the 6th because I kept getting 'highs' on the CB advanced OK.
@JennyV56 based off of your chart, I'm not sure if you have ovulated yet. OPKs are great because they tell you that you are having a surge in LH, but they don't actually tell you that you've ovulated. A clear temp shift will tell you that you have ovulated (or an ultrasound--which is not feasible).
Is this your first month temping? If not, have you had a clear temp shift in past cycles?

@JennyV56 I agree with @beary67. That chart looks anovulatory to me. Unfortunately, the temps are so important because it is not uncommon to get a + OPK and not actually ovulate after. This is a false LH surge and it happens to people fairly frequently. Without a chart that shows a clear temp shift, it's impossible for me to say if you ovulated at all (but I'm leaning toward that you didn't). Also second the questions from above. Have you seen a temp shift on your chart before? Do you know your typical Pre-O temps?

This is my first month charting so I don't have past data to go by. Yes, the old thermometer was a BBT but was $7 at Walmart. I hadn't read about the Mabis until after I ordered the new expensive one, a brand called iproven. I probably got ripped off with paying so much but at this point I'm just happy to see consistent temps in the morning.
We'll-maybe I'll just switch back to WTO then? Might have to just call this month a complete loss : (
@JennyV56 just stick with it. Did you stop hormonal birth control recently? If so, it can take some time for your cycles to adjust.

@JennyV56 I'm so sorry you're feeling discouraged. The first few cycles of temping felt like that to me too. I would encourage you to stick with it. All you can do is your best. And I second what @beary67 said (again) about birth control.
ETA - and to the very best of your ability try to take your temp at the same time every day - I see a lot of open circles on your chart and that can really make it hard to figure it out. If you have a hard time with waking up too early, maybe set your alarm earlier so you can keep the time consistent.
@JennyV56 Sorry to say that I agree with the other ladies here. This was my chart from last month. Take a look at the OPK line. I got a double surge and a really late O date (for me). This prompted me to switch to wondfo OPKs - they are cheaper and then I confirm with my CBAD because I still have some left. So, weird cycles happen. But keep with temping. It provides certainty around your O date! I hope this helps and if you have any other questions, just let us know!!
ETA: Your LP should generally be the same length within a day or two each month so when you know your O date, you can pretty much predict when AF will arrive. So you can test closer to that and not waste tests/drive yourself BSC! Even though we all do anyway
As always, you all are super supportive and helpful. Thanks! @beary67 yes I stopped BC 3 months ago. @lulu1180 I'll pick it up and start reading. So I guess I'll start using OPKs daily in case another LH surge comes along and continue to BD every couple days just in case. But the real question is..do I just lurk now until I know which board to post in? I don't know where I belong anymore : )
@JennyV56 go where you are comfortable. I've been in your same situation before where I thought I ovulated but then FF took my crosshairs away. It's actually happened to me more than once (thanks, PCOS ). One time I just stayed in the TWW, but the other times I moved back to WTO. You might feel more supported being around other women at a similar place in their cycle in WTO.
Also, as previous posters have mentioned, get some Wondfo OPKs, especially if you have a longer cycle and need to test more often. They are super cheap and work well!
About me: TTC#1: October 2015 dx: PCOS & MFI IUI #1 w/Femara + Ovidrel June 2016 ~ BFP July 2016: Blighted Ovum IUI #2 w/Femara + Ovidrel September 2016 ~BFN IUI #3 w/Femara + Ovidrel October 2016 ~BFN IUI #4 w/Femara + Ovidrel November 2016 ~BFN IVF with ICSI January 2017 ~BFN FET February 2017 ~BFN IVF with ICSI March 2017 ~BFP--Twins Due 12/8/17 Team Blue X 2!
I actually have the Wondfos ready and waiting. I was just going to start them after AF came, but time to break open the box! Thanks again everyone. TTGP is not for sissies!
R/R: After last month's fiasco of a 23 day cycle, in which I may or may not have gotten my visit from AF at 7 DPO, I'm totally freaked that this will be another weird, unpredictable cycle. And while I'm finally getting the hang of checking my CM, and feeling confident about my O date, I may have messed that up last month. My confidence took a hit, for sure.
However, this is the best timing we've had since we started TTC, and I'm as pleased as punch about that. CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: Candy...I miss candy. I love chocolate and mint, chocolate and peanut butter, chocolate and fruit, chocolate and chocolate. I think my favorite is probably York Peppermint Patties or Junior Mints. Also, Trader Joe's carries a peanut butter cup that is freaking amazing.

You ladies are so smart, I love reading all of your info!
So, AF is due Wednesday. I had brown spotting this morning and some cramping so I'm assuming I'm out unless I'm having late implanting. Got a negative test yesterday morning, but I didn't temp so I'm not 100 percent when I Od. I was just going by the pain I always get along with the CM, which pointed to August 9th so I would be 13dpo today. Sheesh I need to temp next month.
@lulu1180 Sorry to hear you’re having a tough time. I know when
I went off BC, my first two cycles were 28 days long – just like “normal”. That
had NEVER happened before. My 3rd cycle was about 32, and now they’ve
settled into 35 – 38 days long – which is more normal for me. It may just take
some time.
@saralee797 FX for you and your RE appt next week.
@felix08 You too – FX your RE has some good things for you
@ratparade@mrsdee15@furbabymom2007 I used to play Clash of
Clans. Pretty often actually. But then it got to the point where you were never
gonna win unless you forked over cash. I’m not doing any ios games now – just play
WoW. And I love Skyrim, although I haven’t played it much lately.
Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD/DPO: 27/6
Timing: -5, -1, O
Testing: Not until Labor Day – if I can wait that long.
R/R: First day back to school! What what! It went pretty well, actually.
My students are good and I think it’ll be a pretty smooth year – I hope. The
real shiz happened when I tried to go home. I ordered some shoes at DSW online
but had them shipped to the store (I got extra rewards points for doing that),
so I go to pick them up and one size is the wrong size so they have to refund
me and reship it. No biggie. Then I get
home and find out my dog (who NEVER messes the house) has peed on the carpet.
Ugh. THEN I get a package from amazon that is SUPPOSED to be my new phone case,
BUT it’s just an empty box. GRRR. Then, in texting with some coworkers, I
realize that in the email I sent earlier today asking a supervisor for a letter
of recommendation for grad school, I called her the COMPLETELY wrong job
title.
MAN. I’m glad my day didn’t suck AT work, but still… how frustrating all these little things can
be J
CS/Q: NADA
GTKY: What is your favorite candy?
SUPER UO here, but Cadbury eggs. I find it preposterous they are
only sold at Easter (and now Halloween). They should be available 24/7. My bday
is close to Easter, so last year, my brother bought me 108 of them for my bday.
I still have boxes in my freezer. It’s amazing.
But – if I can’t get those, I’ll settle for reese’s pieces. ET
and I know what’s up.
@antoto UTIs are the worst. I don't have a good remedy besides antibiotics. I had one in May along with a yeast infection. One weekend I was fine and the following Tuesday I had bloody urine so it happened quick! Then in July I went in for a yeast infection (RX is free, monistat isn't) and had a UTI at the same time. @marybpoppins We BD for +2 and 3 too for the same reason since i only track CM and cervical position @hartmich I think diagnosis plural would just be diagnosis but multiple things like "the diagnosis is a, b, and c"
Month/Cycle: 2/2

Testing: Wanted to wait till expected AF but will probably test 12dpo
R/R: I got crazy breakouts yesterday on my chin. Those horribly painful under the skin ones that are giant. I did a glycolic acid treatment and they shrunk a bit overnight. I get hormonal breakouts right before AF but I don't have the usual boob pain. I've had headaches every evening the past few nights but that can also be pre-AF fatigue. Basically anything I would symptom spot with is also an AF symptom, as usual.
DH is working crazy hours for the next few weeks but at least it's not during my FW.

GTKY: What is your favorite candy? I like pretty much any candy, but Snickers have a place in my heart because my mom would always get them for me because she ate them a lot when she was KU with my siblings and I always got one too. As I got older, she would get me one with one of those bottles of Starbucks Frappuccino whenever I had AF lol.
R/R: I have had a migraine all day so that's been great. Also, this TWW is not fun! When I was WTO I couldn't wait to get over here to just be done stressing about hitting the BD days right. Now I'm symptom spotting (far far too early) and stressing about every little thing. I'm going from daydreaming of pregnancy to knowing this isn't our month. Man, I don't know how women do this. I'm only (technically) one month in and already feel defeated. All you women that have been doing this for a long time-- I salute you and am also so amazed by you.
CS/Q: None
GTKY: What is your favorite candy? I adore Nerds. I can eat a whole box in one night (the big boxes). I've never met anyone else that loves them like I do. My husband will randomly bring me the little boxes from the gas station and I grow more in love with him every box.
@Saralee797 I noticed you and I have been trying for about the same amount of time and you have your first RE appointment next week. I was wondering, did you have to have a referral from your OBGYN or were you able to go straight to the RE? Have you had any testing done previously by your OBGYN?
Month/Cycle: 8 (1 benched)
CD/DPO: 19/5
Timing: nada.
R/R: I had my annual OBGYN appointment this morning. I love my OBGYN, she's seriously the sweetest, most sincere doctor I've seen. She says that she normally doesn't pull the trigger for fertility clinic until it's been a year, but she recommended that DH gets a semen analysis done ASAP.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What is your favorite candy? Haribo gummy bears! The only candy I'll actually buy for myself. I don't have much of a sweet tooth.

@juliebeannn I needed a referral from my OB. I thought it was kind of odd because I do not have any previous diagnosis or issues in general but she said from the very beginning if I wasn't KU within 6 months of trying, she wanted me to see an RE. I guess she doesn't subscribe to the whole try for a year thing and is more proactive. Quite honestly I'm okay with it because I think something is up anyway. We have had pretty good timing since April and my post O temps look low to me. I had a phone call with her recently and we decided I would see an RE. No testing yet. I'm assuming that will be the first order of business next week. I'll let you know though.
@Saralee797 Thanks for the info! Out of curiosity, last week I called a fertility clinic that's 2 blocks from my house. I described our situation and they actually said that the one-year rule is a little outdated and that I could come in now without a referral. I was tempted to go that route, but I also don't want to be stepping on my OBGYN's toes. Either way, our main issues is with DH, so getting HIM to go to the doctor is our first order of business, so I've got time to decide. Definitely, let me know how it goes!

R/R: Had to leave the WTO thread for awhile as I needed a nice mental break from TTC madness! It was nice. Just kept busy with work. I'm really excited that I ovulated on DPO 18, as that's a lot more normal for me. Last month was crazy long and I started symptom spotting because I O'd so late.
Also, decided to forgo the expensive IUI and donor sperm (which was REALLY expensive!) and go with... a more fresh option. lol. It's nice, I'm a lot less stressed out now.

TTC my bio #1/our #2 since January 2016
**TW** June 2016 had CP **end TW**
August 2016 - dx with DOR
Somewhere in here received recommendation to do IVF with donor eggs, elected not to; OH dx with Low T
May 2017 - began freezing sperm
June 2017 - OH began treatment for Low T
July 2017 - began doing 1 IUI via a midwife and 1 at home insemination each cycle

July 2018 - exhausted frozen sperm, officially NTNP since OH is probably shooting blanks
I know when I went off BC, my first two cycles were 28 days long – just like “normal”. That had NEVER happened before. My 3rd cycle was about 32, and now they’ve settled into 35 – 38 days long – which is more normal for me. It may just take some time.
@saralee797 FX for you and your RE appt next week.
@felix08 You too – FX your RE has some good things for you
@ratparade @mrsdee15 @furbabymom2007 I used to play Clash of Clans. Pretty often actually. But then it got to the point where you were never gonna win unless you forked over cash. I’m not doing any ios games now – just play WoW.
The real shiz happened when I tried to go home. I ordered some shoes at DSW online but had them shipped to the store (I got extra rewards points for doing that), so I go to pick them up and one size is the wrong size so they have to refund me and reship it. No biggie. Then I get home and find out my dog (who NEVER messes the house) has peed on the carpet. Ugh. THEN I get a package from amazon that is SUPPOSED to be my new phone case, BUT it’s just an empty box. GRRR. Then, in texting with some coworkers, I realize that in the email I sent earlier today asking a supervisor for a letter of recommendation for grad school, I called her the COMPLETELY wrong job title.
MAN. I’m glad my day didn’t suck AT work, but still… how frustrating all these little things can be J
CS/Q: NADA
GTKY: What is your favorite candy?
SUPER UO here, but Cadbury eggs. I find it preposterous they are only sold at Easter (and now Halloween). They should be available 24/7. My bday is close to Easter, so last year, my brother bought me 108 of them for my bday. I still have boxes in my freezer. It’s amazing.
But – if I can’t get those, I’ll settle for reese’s pieces. ET and I know what’s up.

@marybpoppins We BD for +2 and 3 too for the same reason since i only track CM and cervical position
@hartmich I think diagnosis plural would just be diagnosis but multiple things like "the diagnosis is a, b, and c"
Month/Cycle: 2/2
R/R: I got crazy breakouts yesterday on my chin. Those horribly painful under the skin ones that are giant. I did a glycolic acid treatment and they shrunk a bit overnight. I get hormonal breakouts right before AF but I don't have the usual boob pain. I've had headaches every evening the past few nights but that can also be pre-AF fatigue. Basically anything I would symptom spot with is also an AF symptom, as usual.
DH is working crazy hours for the next few weeks but at least it's not during my FW.

I adore Nerds. I can eat a whole box in one night (the big boxes). I've never met anyone else that loves them like I do. My husband will randomly bring me the little boxes from the gas station and I grow more in love with him every box.

Probably Snickers!
