Welcome to TTC After Loss. I'm so sorry for your loss but am happy you have found us. ((hugs)) This board is full of brilliant and kind women who have experienced the hardship of losing that which is most precious, and I hope you find great comfort and support here in your journey to your rainbow baby.
For those of you so new you don't know the routine, this is a checkin for newer members of the TTCAL Board. My board name is gscoville, but you can just call me G or GS. Please feel free to use this space to ask those "newbie" questions that feel intimidating to ask on the main board, I will try my best to get you an answer.
Please take the time to read the TTCAL blog to answer any questions you may have regarding our board etiquette, TTC, miscarriages & loss, and much more: https://www.ttcalblog.blogspot.com/ If you are a checkin regular and get a BFP, please PM me so that I can add it to the weekly checkin with a warning for other members.
Finally, if you haven't done so, please post your introduction on the main board including your story.
For everyone else: How are you doing? Any news besides what I've asked about here? Please, if you missed last week?s checkin so don?t have an update here to reply to, post an update and let me know how things are going for you!

Updates from last week:
Congratulations Stufie on your BFP, FX for a happy and healthy 9 months for you!
lv2011: I?m so sorry you?re on to a new cycle, especially after such a hopefully long LP ((hugs)) It looks like we?re sharing that aspect of our cycles, my last few LPs have been between 14-18 days long and that really sucks for giving false hope. FX this cycle isn?t so long and just goes better for you!
LaRomana09: How are you finding not temping? I don?t honestly think I could do it, I was away for the weekend and at one point thought I?d misplaced my thermometer and was in an absolute panic! Granted I haven?t yet confirmed O so that would be more panic-inducing than if I was well into my 2WW.
Twirple: How are you finding charting? All looks good so far, please be sure to ask if you have any questions!
Mrs+Hebert: I?m sorry for CD1 today ((hugs)) Looks like you share a longer LP with me and lv2011, bad for getting hopes up unfortunately.
aztoid2006: I?m glad charting is going well for you, it?s nice when all data comes together so nicely to give you clear information! With regards to FF free vs paid version, I?ve always had the paid version and I love it. When I signed up I automatically got the VIP version for a trial month, and when that trial was nearly over I got a hold of the FB discount and picked up the VIP account for a year. So I?ve never actually had the free version to compare, but from what I?ve read you don?t get a lot of things with the free version that I enjoy with VIP, such as the ability to go back and print out old charts, chart comparisons, extra data entry options, etc. It really is a personal choice though!
shandorfml2: Wow, four exact same temps in a row, that seems odd to me. I?d guess either your therm is ?remembering? temps, or you might need to get one that goes to two decimal places instead of only one to catch those more subtle differences between, say, 97.21 and 97.29.
HeyMrsPotter: I?m glad you?re easing into temping so well. You do know not to switch to the new therm until a new cycle, right? Just checking. I know I too was happier when I got my BBT and switched from my regular therm, it just seemed more accurate.
mhiester314: Welcome to the checkin ((hugs)) Have you tried the tinypic.com suggestion for getting a pic into your siggy? That?s what I do too. You have to hit save like a dozen times to make it stick too, don?t give up!
MollySM: Yay for HCG being low! I temped my loss cycle as well and it was a complete mess, hopefully this one is much better for you! There is an empowerment in feeling like you?re doing something about TTC once again, coming off the bench sure helps with that.
mmnumber5: I?m glad your D&C went well and you?re now on the path to moving forward. FX your HCG drops quickly for you!
rmpar29: Your temps could very well be off this cycle if your therm was dying. I?m sorry you?re having a hard time lately, yes, we all do go through these bouts from time to time. That?s why this place is such a wonderful resource! ((hugs))
maydaygirl590: Yay for the house offer, did they accept? I hope all those illnesses your household is experiencing are moving on out!
chknma: Welcome to the checkin ((hugs)) Coverlines can change from cycle to cycle whether before or after a loss ? my coverline has certainly never stayed exactly the same, neither have my overall pre- and post-O temps, O date, LP, etc. Some rare women are very predictable, but I think most of us aren?t so much!
L&C2010: I?m glad you got to have fun and cut loose last weekend! Travel over my weekend actually went better than expected, I?m very thankful for my iPad and a DVD player! lol
+yuMMMy+: Sounds like you?re having a good week, how was your anniversary weekend? Are you planning to get an FF account and start charting? Please ask if you do and you have any questions!
kistyW13: I?m glad the spotting stopped, but sorry you?re still not at zero yet ? hopefully next time! Boo for having to do all those extra chores.
jlb902: I?m sorry you didn?t get any clear answers at your RE appointment, while it?s nice to know there?s no major problems it can be disappointing not to have a ?reason?. ((hugs))
ashellypnut: I?m sorry you?re on to a new cycle ((hugs)) I totally hear you on the whole 2WW thing getting really old, I find I?m feeling that way too.

Question of the Week: If you could be famous for anything, what would that be?
I'd love to be famous for being a fantastic artist or writer. I dabble in both but have never taken it to the next level.

UPDATE: Last week AF arrived after our 2 cycle break so we are officially TTC again! I am still waiting for my doctors office to call with my RPL results - I'm starting to get worried they haven't called yet, but as long as I get the results before I O we should be good. - I hope.
ETA: QOTW - If I could be famous for anything I would love to be a perfromer like a singer/dancer.

Don't have much to update anyway, sitting at 7DPO with nothing to report. I have been incredibly irritable for almost a week now, to the point where I'm annoying myself with my crappy attitude. Feels a lot like PMS but lasting a lot longer and coming on earlier than it should. So we'll see!
Question of the Week: If you could be famous for anything, what would that be? Singing for sure. I already sing but I'm not good enough to be famous. I wish I were!

Darn, now that you mention it, I did start using my new therm on CD5. That was dumb of me. I don't know why I didn't think about possible inconsistency. I will be curious to see whether my temps can confirm O in the next few days. Based on CM and OPKs, I think I should O today (CD11) or tomorrow. DH sometimes has ED issues due to diabetes. But we're doing OK with that lately, so I am hoping we can HIO today and tomorrow.
QOTW: I, too, would love to be famous being a fantastic writer. English writing was my major, but these days I just write corporate stuff. (TPS reports, anyone?) Ho hum.
What about you, GS - I know you're not a newbie, but will you give us an update on you? You just took a crazy long road trip with your family, right? Glad you survived.
edited spelling and spacing
ETA: Can anyone give me an opinion on the OPK photo below? The one on the left is from today. The test line is not as wide as the control line, and the coloration is uneven. But, part of it looks darker than the test line. Do you think that's positive? I am guessing it is because this is how my darkest OPK looked last month, but I wasn't temping then, so I don't know for sure if I did O then...
*child mentioned*
May I join this check-in? I introed last week, but here's my history again:
I have a 2 year old, who was conceived with the help of an RE. Since then, I've had 2 losses: a natural miscarriage at 6 weeks in November 2012 and a missed miscarriage (which ended in a D&C) at 9.5 weeks in June 2013. We've currently TTA for 2 cycles (doctor's orders!), then we're going back to the RE for treatment. I'm still waiting for my first AF post-D&C, but I know that it can take awhile. I'm hoping that it's sooner rather than later, since I'm getting anxious to get started TTC again!
1 miracle Earth baby and 5 Angel babies
~All welcome~
Twirple: How are you finding charting? All looks good so far, please be sure to ask if you have any questions!
Charting is going well. My time for charting has been fluctuation between 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning. My alarm is set for 6:30, but if I wake up after 5:30, I'll temp then, since I won't get in 3 hours sleep after that. I guess it seems like the lesser of 2 evils. I have completed all of the FF charting courses, so I at least *think* I know what to look for.
QOTW: I was a theatre major in college, so I guess I would want to be an actress. I definitely prefer live theatre over the couple of small, local, independent movies I have been in, so I would want to do Broadway plays. Singing, dancing and acting...love it!
Hey GS, how are you? Thanks for doing the checkin!
MollySM: Yay for HCG being low! I temped my loss cycle as well and it was a complete mess, hopefully this one is much better for you! There is an empowerment in feeling like you?re doing something about TTC once again, coming off the bench sure helps with that.
I definitely feel empowered and ready to get the show on the road. I have had EWCM for the past few days, so H and I are BDing as much as possible, and hoping fot ovulation over the next couple of days. It looks like you are at the same point in your cycle. My chart definitely looks better than it did post miscarriage, so we'll see if this works. I am still sleeping terribly, so we'll seehowthat affects it.
QOTD : I'd love to be famous for singing. I really enjoy doing it, but don't have the confidence to sing in front of others. I used to love being in musical theater when I was young.
BFP 3.8.16 EDD 11.20.16
Hello GS, hope your week is going well!
Mrs+Hebert: I?m sorry for CD1 today ((hugs)) Looks like you share a longer LP with me and lv2011, bad for getting hopes up unfortunately
Unfortunately my LP used to be not-so-long but because I have to wait until 14 or 15dpo to stop the progesterone, it prolongs AF. Which of course sucks because of all the BFNs I know it's coming!
Had a call with my RE today who wants an u/s on Thurs to make sure I don't have any cysts going into this cycle, which Im scared about because I feel like I had some extra pains after O that could be something wrong. Fx. But we both agree that if everything is okay, we are going to try IUI this cycle. DH's SA came back great but it couldn't hurt giving his swimmers an extra boost.
QOTW: I went to music school in Nashville so I have always had the dream of becoming a famous singer. Lost most of those hopes when I found out the reality of the shot of being one of those successful people though!

I would consider that a positive OPK though I would probably test again tomorrow. Sometimes I get 2 positives in a row before I get another negative.
Actually, switching to a new therm on CD5 is probably fine, most women are just finishing their periods then and many don't even temp until AF is over, so that'll be just fine. You just wouldn't want to switch around O time. I think you're good!
I'd say your bottom OPK is positive, I've often had them like that where one side of the line is as dark or darker than the control. Happy HIO!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -Philippians 4:6-7

L&C2010: I?m glad you got to have fun and cut loose last weekend! Travel over my weekend actually went better than expected, I?m very thankful for my iPad and a DVD player! lol
I have a sort-of update on my promotion. I was told that the budget for FY14 has not been finalized yet so that can't promote anyone until 2nd quarter. Also, the 2 positions available have been reduced to 1. I was told that I was still in the running and I was just put on as the lead of a major project so hopefully when they can hire someone, it will be me!
Question of the Week: If you could be famous for anything, what would that be? I think I would want to be a celebrity chef. I love cooking and always dream of having a show on the Food Network.TTCAL September Siggy Challenge: Interesting Interspecies Interactions

Hi ladies- a little late but the changes last night were annoying.
CD20 and just waiting for AF so we can get back TTC. Feels like the CD days are going so slowly, especially knowing that I could have another 20 days ahead of me or more. boo I'm hoping AF will be here in the next 2 weeks, but that's just me comparing to my last post-MC AF coming back at 33 days.
I did join the healthy living check-in and started C25k this week. It will give me something to focus on aside from TTC until our vacation in September.
QOTD: I'm not especially talented with artistic stuff- I'd love to be well known for some type of animal activism or other service based work... Or maybe be some awesome Olympic athlete since I used to be athletic
