Hubby and I literally have nothing. He has 1 name that he loves that I hate, and I have one that I love and he hates. Other than that there are a few we each think are OK, but none that we agree on. Everyone keeps telling us "When you find the name you'll know," but I'm pretty sure we've considered every name out there at this point. We both know there will be some level of compromise, but it's hard to consider naming the baby something we both don't love.
Anyone else out there still have no name for their LO?

We have two names we both like and two we are less thrilled about, but we will wait until we see our son before choosing. For now our son is Pickle. :
Our nephew named our baby pickle as well Other niece/nephew suggestions have been acorn, nemo, and cinnamon. At this point we might end up with one of those, haha!
This is a very interesting point. I was considering us not naming our son until we saw him, but once H committed to using my name that was it. I think for the most part people somehow tend to grow into their name, but maybe people just get use to someone's name? This is probably a UO too...I don't feel very comfortable calling my baby by his name. I have no reason why. I think his name is perfect, but calling him by his name feels strange for me to call him that right now. I don't find it strange when one of my coworkers, originally from Africa, calls me Momma Brice. Where he is from they call mothers momma incert first born's name That makes it even more odd
We don't have a name either. I should feel a greater sense of urgency about it, but I kind of keep forgetting to even look at names. We should probably get a move on!
ETA: FWIW, our son wasn't named until he was almost two days old and we were ready to leave the hospital. I'm not a huge fan of picking out a definite name until we see the baby.
this is what we did with dd #1... Worked out perfectly! This time around we agreed on one earlier so that dd#1 could begin calling her by it while she's still in my "tummy"...

i completely agree with you! I think it's a little strange as well. I need to see him first
One of my best (girl) friends is named Weslie (pronounced exactly like Wesley). I think it's an awesome girl's name.
We don't have a name picked out for our baby boy yet. We are having a really hard time. There are some names that I like some but none that I love.
Mobile thumbs up! We are team green and waiting. We have lists but nothing is for sure. Good luck! I suggest nymblr or the baby name board.

I've seen baby rooms with the names already over the bed or towels embroidered with the kids initials etc... Things that are, not permanent, but fairly committed. I guess that's what I find weird. Also I think it would just be sh!tty to tell everyone one name then change it if it doesn't suit.
