This is the closest bottle that simulates a breast that I have seen, and I've shopped around. There have been a couple close ones, that my babies have grudgingly taken, but they have both been discontinued, so I started looking again for this baby's bottle.
I think these look great! I wanted to share with you ladies, too!
I just ordered two, myself.
My breastfed babies have always had such a hard time taking a bottle, and honestly, even the "breast" ones still are not close to the shape of a boob, a nipple, and especially not the color. Here's hoping this bottle will be a much smoother transition from breast to bottle and back again.
(We had to supplement my nursing with a specific medical grade formula for at least one extra meal with both my babies due to severe acid reflux, which is why they went back and forth from bottle to breast. I'm just trying to be prepared this time around since baby#3 will likely be drinking from both as well! )
Uncommon Goods used to sell them, but they don't anymore. I did a search on-line and found another retailer, though, thankfully. There are more than one.
Expecting Baby #3 to complete our family.
I have an adventurous 2 Year Old Toddler Boy & thoughtful 4 Year Old LIttle Girl!
Re: Closest bottle to boob that I've ever seen.
Thanks for the info though, although it did come off a little sales pitchy...

PP Have you ever breast fed before? Your nips may not be pokey until after baby has stimulated them. Maybe TMI but I was pretty shocked how long and pokey they would get after nursing my first baby. What I learn with my first baby was that I had to try several bottle nipples until I found one she would use. My DD was picky and disliked bottle feeding.
I was being a bit tongue and cheek. I was more commenting on the "buy now and get two free [only pay separate shipping and handling]" tone of the post. I doubt she meant it to come off that way, but I'd be lying if it didn't make me think does she sell this stuff?

I saw the Comotomo's, too, but then they were already being discontinued at my Target and their shelf spot was empty. I have found most breastfed-like bottles don't last too long in stores, which is why I try and buy as soon as I find one that I think I'll want to use.
I also saw that this particular bottle was already discontinued from Uncommon Goods, which is why I bought now from elsewhere, and why I posted here, to give ladies a chance to consider it and buy it before it was unavailavle in the U.S. (It's a Swiss product.)
Just trying to be helpful! That is all. That's a shame you think a SAHM who is just giving a recommendation based on having two babies go from bottle and breast, and why this would work as a good option, is read into as being more than that. I didn't even give the store I bought from, just told you to find one you liked yourself, so certainly no benefit or kickback to me in anyway at all.
Again, I just thought I was being helpful and informative, since there have already been a couple posts asking for bottle recommendations from STM+ moms. That's what this board is all about, right?
