So, though our EM chose us way back in January, we're just at the official agency matching point. So, today, we had a call with the agency and we're officially matched. And holy hell, if this all happens the way it should, we're gonna have a newborn in like 2.5 months. May I please freak out now? I'm not sure what I'm more freaked out about. The gargantuan check I'm about to draw from my savings account. Or the fact that in like 8-10 weeks I'll have an infant. Yikes.
Yay! That is awesome! Happy early Mother's day to you!
After 2 years of IF workups/treatments and 2 IUIs, we have closed the door on fertility treatments. We are very excited to be pursuing international adoption from China!

Beyond happy for you!!!!!!!!! All of this crap with the agency will be so worth it and (I am hoping) it can be forgotten once that sweet baby is with you. Kind of like the pain of childbirth
Best news of the week for me!

They just wanted to talk to both of us to give us the information--- apparently people don't communicate with their partners and just randomly accept placements? Um. Anyway, hubby just grabbed a half hour away from work and we conference called. Which amazed the agency staff. Ohhhhhh technology....shiny.... Seriously. It's not rocket science.

My husband and I have had a long-time dream to adopt and it's happening in a way that we didn't quite anticipate. But, like any move of God, it's turning out way better than we expected.
