We are TTC and have been talking about baby names a lot lately. Anyways, we are for sure going with Avery William if we have a boy. We both absolutely love the name but in the back of my mind I'm a little scared that it will become more popular for girls and that he will get teased at school. What are your thoughts?

While it's still technically unisex, it's very much skewed towards girls these days. It's a lovely name, but I feel like it's eventually going to be like naming your son Meredith or Stacey. Technically, both unisex, but they're associated far more often with girls than boys.
I do think it is unisex meaning if I heard it on a boy I would think it was strange but IRL I know about 3 little Averys and they are all girl. Def. more of a girl name in my area...

Great middle name!

I love the name, for a girl though. To me it's 100% girl

I agree with this. I probably wouldn't name my son Avery now because it is so popular for girls.

I feel like Avery is unisex, but I'd prefer it for a girl name.
I do know someone who named her son Avery & it fits him very well.
