If your midwife/OB told you to take evening primrose oil, come in.

How much/often did they tell you to take it?  I can't remember exactly what the midwife said and calling the office is such a pain - I'd rather just follow instructions on the bottle and wait for my next appt.  So I was just wondering what you ladies were told to do :-)

    1000mg dose.

     At 37 weeks - 3x/day

    At 38 weeks - 4x/day

    At 39 weeks - 5x/day

    At 40 weeks - 6x/day, then continue with 6x/day until delivery.

    Thanks!  That's what I found online - it seemed like a lot to me, but looks like other people are doing the same thing.  I think the midwife said something like, "Take a few a day."  I will ask again this week.
