I have an appointment with my OB on May 11, so 2 weeks. It's something. I've taken two pregnancy tests since the D&C, and both came back negative. If I had any hcg left in my system, wouldn't they show positive?

I'm coming up on 7 weeks post d&c and no period yet. My midwife said it can take 8 weeks so I'm trying to be patient. I've just had several days of ewcm so I think I may be ovulating or trying to, and I am starting to get normal pre-AF signs (thanks acne). Things are much different this time than after my first d&c but I'm trying to trust my body- not so easy after 2 consecutive losses.
