@dragonfaerie I get staring at the clock and waiting. When I go in for a blood test in the morning I have to wait until between 2-4pm before I get the call from my nurse. As soon as 2 pm hits I'm constantly checking my phone, making sure it's still on, making sure I don't accidentally have it on silent. It goes everywhere with me between 2 and 4 pm. Hopefully they will call with great news (and SOON)!!

@susykat77 Thank you thank you! It feels good!

So how soon after ER did you guys start your period? I had the mother of all cramps this morning but my ER was only last Wednesday. I know it can be all over the place, but I just wondered what kind of average time I was looking at.

Hi ladies - I feel so far behind! Last week we had some family emergencies and one resulted in my aunt passing away. My family is Italian, so funerals are a bit like weddings (only sad). From last Wednesday until yesterday I was only home long enough to sleep. yesterday I pretty much slept the entire day.

We started our injections on Monday, so far so good. We are doing 150 follistim and 150/1cc of menopur daily. My u/s and bw on Monday were good. They did not tell me how many follies I started out with.

@kadair123 yay for AF! Fx everything goes as hoped!

@AandDM2014 your Beta is so close!! FX for you. Will you wait for beta or poas?

@rachnan we started meds on Monday. We also had to pay for everything up front at that time. It was so scary. Just add it to the student debt!

@susykat77 how are things going for you? When is your FET scheduled for?

@dragonfaerie are you doing frozen or fresh?

i need to start a spread sheet that logs everyone's process and stats. I wish the AP showed everyone's signatures.

@vssbrm I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that you can get some rest now though. Hugs! How are you at the injections? Feeling okay?
We are doing an FET, and my clinic actually pushes it out an extra month, so my transfer will be in April or early May (depending on AF's cooperation.)

@dragonfaerie I'm fine with the injections. My DH is terrified of hurting me, so I am doing the abdominal ones for myself. He has to do the trigger so I try to get him to at least be in the same room with me so he can see that the ab ones don't hurt. I just poke them in and get it over with! So far I am feeling ok - I had bad night sweats last night, and I have this odd sensation coming from my ovary area. Nothing crazy!

that stinks that the FET is so far away, but good that your body is going to be nice and rested! Our retrieval will be around March 4 with the frozen transfer around April 7 if everything goes as typical. It seems so far away!

@vssbrm Poor hubby! It's so hard for them to watch and not be able to do anything! I definitely had some weird tingling during my stims.

I'm definitely of two minds about how far away the FET is. On the one hand I want that baby NOW and on the other hand, I get to have a rest and one last month to "drink and party" (not that I'm going to go crazy). :) It will go by quick though! Keep me posted on your timeline!

@susykat77  - sorry to hear about your embryos but it only takes 1. Keep the faith!

@AandDM2014- praying for a good beta!

    ++M/C Mentioned

Hope everyone else is going well.  AFM- I've given up. Ok not really and I'm being dramatic, but I sorta feel like that some days.   So recap, after my D&C in November, I went in for my saline sono in late January only to discover I still had products of conception left in my uterus. Then I had to have hysterscopy beginning of February to remove everything and the procedure took much longer than normal (an hour!) because there was much more they had to remove.  Then went in for another saline sono after hysterscopy and they still saw things, but said it could be me healing, so postponing FET and to come back for another saline sono in 2 weeks. So my March 3 FET was pushed back to March 25. I went back for my saline sono on Tuesday and there was still something in there!  What the heck? After a D&C and a hysterscopy to remove everything how could there still be stuff in there?!  GRRR.  Soo... I have to go back in for another hysterscopy, and as of right now they can't get me until March 14. Which means I'm now looking at the end of April for my FET - - just getting delayed and delayed. I know many of you ladies knows how this feels.

Keeping you all in my thoughts.  Any BFPs yet?!
    About me:

    #2 FET, Sept. 2015, SET MC@8 wks with D&C in November 2015.
13 remaining blasts sent for PGS testing.  1 did not survive the thaw. 6 came back normal from PGS.
#3 FET 5/16/16 SET - BFP 5/20/16 Beta's looked great and so did ultrasounds- officially released to my OB! EDD 2/1/17.

Hi Ladies! I had my retrieval today and everything went well! 2 days before retrieval they saw 6 good size follicles and 6 smaller ones. They ended up getting 7 eggs total. I'm hoping they all fertilize and make it 5 day for PGS testing and freeze. The anesthesia was no joke, I'm still feeling the effects and my retrieval was at noon. I will do another retrieval the beginning of April and hopefully transfer in May!!

@candicane1979 yay for a great retrieval! Has the anesthesia worn off yet?

@dragonfaerie yes, problems. She could not catch the vein, it was like she was excavating the inside of my elbow.

So now I am waiting for my phone call, it sounded like the meds might change a bit and I am running a little sooner than my calendar. The nurse suggested we clear our Wednesday schedule too, just in case the retrieval gets bumped a day early. She counted 21 follicles btwn sizes 8 and 13 - hopefully they make some good eggs!! I am not looking forward to the trigger shot, the needle is long and big - it's super easy and does not hurt, right?

@vssbrm I'm so sorry! Ugh, one of our phlebotomists really had a hard time with me too. No one else struggled like she did.

I'm glad you are moving along! I did not have a lot of issues with the trigger shot. I have heard that icing the area first can help, but mine only pinched a little bit without icing and it was over quick (Good job husby!) I will tell you that the next two days it felt like someone had punched me in the butt, so maybe ice or heat compress after would be good?

    ---Trigger warning---

    Me: 31 DH: 27
    TTC since April 2013
Two cancelled IUIs in Aug and Sept '15 due to low motility/count

    ER: February 17, 2016; 9 retrieved, 7 mature, 7 fertilized
Day 5 Blastocysts: 5 BB, 1 AB, all normal from PGS
FET date: May 11, '16; transferred 1 AB embryo
    First beta: May 23, '16: 998!!  Second: May 25, '16: 1648

@vssbrm Thank you!! It was easy to resist because I don't actually have any hpts, so I would have to purposefully go and buy one, which I ain't gonna do! As for needles, I've been over them for about a year. I think the first time I got a shot in the butt was an eye opener for me as to how many needles I'll actually have stuck into my body. Some days I just want to cry when I think about having another needle in me. And about your trigger: What product are you using? All my meds came with long needles to mix, then little ones to inject, except for butt ones. All my triggers have been in my tummy with short needles.

@candicane1979 Good luck with your eggies! Hopefully they do well!

I'm back from the blood draw, and should know in less than 7 hours what the results are. I think it sometimes takes them a bit longer if the beta is positive because they then test estrogen and progeserone to see if meds need adjusting. I told my nurse already that I need the call early enough to order more PIO if it is positive. I'm so hoping that it is!!

@dragonfaerie and @vssbrm Thank you!! I am super excited, but also super cautious. Which sucks. Normal people don't have to be worried when they find out they're pregnant. At least not as worried as we infertiles are.

I hear you there @AandDM2014 We will forever be cautiously optimistic. I have so many people who are just like "Oh, I know it's going to work for you the first time, you'll be great, etc." and it's just like, I have had my heart broken too many times to get too excited yet. But you know, that's what I actually love about having told everyone about our journey. Because then they can be optimistic and excited for me when I can't. :)

@dragonfaerie Yes! All my peeps are always so optimistic about it when I can't be. All our parents were so excited when I called them with the news. I had to remind them that one positive beta doesn't mean we're going to get a baby.

@2015dee Thank you! My doc was impressed with the number. I don't think I've ever had a beta over 90, so 570 is amazing! I'm getting tested again on Monday at an outside lab (we're going to be in Vegas so I can't do it at my clinic). The website said to expect results within 24 hours, but hopefully I'll know sometime Monday afternoon!
