Hi ladies, congrats to all the BFPs on this thread! It is so promising to see such success. I was wondering if any of you were successful despite a high FSH level? I'm 29 and for the past 6 months have had a normal FSH and found out today that it skyrocketed to a high level. I was hoping to see if anyone had a successful protocol after that diagnosis.

Today is Alexandra and Elise's one month birthday. We've had them home since Monday and they are adapting to their home sleep and feeding schedule really well.
Breastfeeding is still a challenge, but they get better at it every day. It's still so surreal having two babies in my arms! A year ago I was recovering from laparascopic surgery in the hopes of figuring out why we couldn't get pregnant! Now I am going to need carpal tunnel surgery after feeding 2 babies 8-10 times a day.

Well ladies...I'm in the hospital. DH and I drove to San Antonio to visit friends for an overnight trip. About 2:30 am as we were sleeping the bed collapsed to rhe floor. I felt fine...no pain but when I got up at about 9am I had dark red blood in my tighty whities. They are monitoring the babies and they look great. Cervix lenght looks good still but I was having small contractions that I wasn't feeling they have since slowed down and they are loading me up on fluids. I'm really praying no pre term labor. They took blood and urine to check for infection so now we wait for those results. I'm starving and of course I can't eat.
Long as Taya and Harmony are ok...that is all I care about.

@caitiemae Thank u so much. I'm back in Austin with my team of doctors so I'm feeling much more confident. They are keeping me over night for observation and giving me steroids and something to stop the contractions. Right now they are hopeful we can get everythig to simmer down because I haven't had any more bleeding. Said because of twins my body thinks I'm further along than I am. Gotta keep these babies in until at least 33/34 weeks!!! Preferably 36! All I can do is remain calm, pray and trust I'm in good hands.

I'm still in the hospital. Contractions have stopped. They gave my first dose of steroids at 3am so I'll here til Tuedsay because I have to get a second one. My doctor doesn't think braxton hicks contractions caused the bleeding or contractions. She thinks the jossel from the bed falling irritated the placenta and that in turn caused the bleeding which in turn irritated the uterus and caused the contractions. My abdominal muscles are very sore from all the braxton hicks. Baby girls scored a perfect 100% on all the testing they did so I'm happy they are ok. I get to just chill and be taken care of, which is hard for me to do.

We are still here in NICU sadly. The twins will be 38 weeks tomorrow and 3weeks and 3 days old.... And I am biting the bit to get them home. It is all I want to do. Our NICU has very strict requirements to get them home. I am EBF. And they require 8 full measurable feeds for 48 hours(which means they require bottles which I am not willing to do) , car seat test, circumcision, hearing and vision testing before discharge.
Ceri is weighing in at 4.14lbs and Remi is weighing in at 5.8lbs.
We had a care meeting with their team and expressed our concerns and they changed the twins requirements to get them home. Our twins have been on 100% breast milk since birth. But I found out that the calorie boost that they were given is cow based I got really angry so they cut that out and reduced it to 22 Vs. 24 . On the new plan the twins are growing steady and not loosing weight(small victory for mommy). And they have been finishing more feeds. We are looking at a due date release or hopefully sooner.
I have recovered rather quickly from double labor birth experience lol. I picked up and went in a sense. It's almost like my mind told my body that is had work to do and to heal fast lol. I still am getting pains and twinges after pumping and breast feeding but it's all normal.
I think the FACEBOOK group is going to be amazing. So let me know and I will join

I had my 35 week appointment yesterday and I am dilated 1 cm, woohoo! Besides that everything is fine so planning on going in again on Monday and just taking it day by day.....I am feeling oh-so-super pregnant!
Also, I did test sensitive to Strep B.... sounds like no big deal just antibiotics during labor/delivery... anyone have experience with this? I was told 1 in 3 woman naturally carry the bacteria.
@mclornI tested negative but I still had to be on all the antibiotics and such because my results were not in yet lol but oh well. Plus I am weird and I develop immunity to antibiotics so I had to be on 6 antibiotics for delivery and postpartum

Yeah, it's been tough. I haven't been home yet since they were born. I have been watching other babies who are younger gestationaly than the twins go home today... It's making it so hard to be here. My little ones are at good weights every night and theyeat very well when they are hungry. The struggle is real and I am trying to keep my spirits up and remain positive at this point.
OMG....in the middle of me typing the NP came in and said they no longer require the fortify in my breastmilk 5.8 1/2lbs for Remi and 5.1oz for Ceri, one more step closer to the door.... Oh they are also being seen by the audiologist in the next 2 days!!!

I tested positive for the GBS. I was put on antibiotics. One of the twins tested positive too, so they had to put her on antibiotics as well, and do a lumbar puncture to make sure it didn't become meningitis. Super scary at the time but everything turned out fine.

I am doing much better. I got home yesterday at about 2pm and I kinda slept for as long as my body would let me. They kept a very close eye on me and the babies and I'm just happy in the end everything is ok.

Had my 34 week appointment today and my last ultrasound! Baby is looking great, measuring in the 70th percentile. Hoping appointments continue to go well and there wont be any last minute surprises. Also found out husband didn't get the job, a little relieved that I wont have to move after just finishing up the nursery!

I will say I spent the first ~30 weeks with people constantly tell me how HUGE I am going to get! Now it's the opposite and people are impressed with how well I am carrying the twins. So you'll probably get that switch pretty soon here. The nerve of people... geez....

Yeah I set him straight and so did DH. Then him and his wife had the nerve to tell us they are coming to the hospital for the delivery. Needless to say we offended them again when we told them they weren't invited. LOL!!

Today is Alexandra and Elise's one month birthday. We've had them home since Monday and they are adapting to their home sleep and feeding schedule really well.
Breastfeeding is still a challenge, but they get better at it every day. It's still so surreal having two babies in my arms! A year ago I was recovering from laparascopic surgery in the hopes of figuring out why we couldn't get pregnant! Now I am going to need carpal tunnel surgery after feeding 2 babies 8-10 times a day.
Long as Taya and Harmony are ok...that is all I care about.

Ceri is weighing in at 4.14lbs and Remi is weighing in at 5.8lbs.
We had a care meeting with their team and expressed our concerns and they changed the twins requirements to get them home. Our twins have been on 100% breast milk since birth. But I found out that the calorie boost that they were given is cow based I got really angry so they cut that out and reduced it to 22 Vs. 24 . On the new plan the twins are growing steady and not loosing weight(small victory for mommy). And they have been finishing more feeds. We are looking at a due date release or hopefully sooner.
I have recovered rather quickly from double labor birth experience lol. I picked up and went in a sense. It's almost like my mind told my body that is had work to do and to heal fast lol. I still am getting pains and twinges after pumping and breast feeding but it's all normal.

I had my 35 week appointment yesterday and I am dilated 1 cm, woohoo! Besides that everything is fine so planning on going in again on Monday and just taking it day by day.....I am feeling oh-so-super pregnant!
OMG....in the middle of me typing the NP came in and said they no longer require the fortify in my breastmilk

I am doing much better. I got home yesterday at about 2pm and I kinda slept for as long as my body would let me. They kept a very close eye on me and the babies and I'm just happy in the end everything is ok.

I can't believe I'm officially 9 months pregnant. Wow, I did not see this coming! In my head I would go early, there would be NICU time, yadda yadda, but perhaps we will have smooth sailing. Fingers crossed.
