@readinglove Congrats on the house. I've always wanted to like running, but I get started and i'm like "this sucks :-q" lol. I can't stick with it long enough to build any stamina. So i tend to do HIIT for my cardio. Which also kinda sucks but for a shorter amount of time! lol
Hi! I'm a registered nurse and work in an outpatient cancer center where I administer chemotherapy. I live in Wisonsin, have lived here all of my life. I love to crochet and scrapbook when I have time.
I've been here since the beginning of November.
We're TTA until June 2015 per Dr orders . I had a molar pregnancy, so my HCG has to stay at 0 for 6 months until I'm cleared to TTC again. In the mean time, I'm planning to get healthy, start working, out and getting in shape.
Together since April 2004. Married since June 19th, 2010.
BFP #1: January 31st 2012: CP.
BFP #2: June 1st 2012, Due:2/8/13. Avery was born via unplanned c section on 2/13/13.
BFP #3: Sept. 25th, 2014. Due: 6/5/15. MMC on 10/23/14. Confirmed complete molar pregnancy per D&C 10/29/14,
HCG officially negative 12/10/14. Benched until June 2015.
I'm an assistant manager of inventory for a national lighting company. I live in Richmond VA- relocated after a fire took out my entire apartment building in west Philly in 2011. I lost everything, except my 3 cats, who were all rescued in my burned out unit a month later! I'm originally from Jersey and will return to the beach for good one day if it kills me.
I've lurked on TTCAL off and on since my first loss in may but decided to join the conversation last week as I'm trying to cope with my second loss in October. Hubby and I are actively TTC, that is- if I can figure out my damn ovulation date... Probably going to start temping and charting once the holidays are over.
Thanks for starting this convo!

Tell me a little about yourself: Hey all! I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and love it here. Winters are fun if you find things to do out in the cold! My husband and I are both self employed. His family owns a network of radio stations and I run a private practice where I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. We have three fur-babies. All are Weimaraners. One is a foster that we are keeping for a while. He has a spinal deformity and has made so much progress since we got him. We are super workers and hardly take time for ourselves. We've never been on a vacation together in the 6+ years we've been together. We do brew beer and hard cider and thoroughly enjoy consuming both... as well as other alcoholic beverages... and coffee... all the coffee!
How long have you been here (TTCAL)?: I've been here since November 2014
Where are you in your TTC journey?: First pregnancy ended in a natural MC in the end of November. Waiting to burn the bench after AF arrives, and I get in to see a new primary care physician so I can get a referral for the OB I want. I'm also having blood work done and establishing with an MD who does not accept insurance and who is willing to look at my levels and assess my health through a holistic lens.
It was great to get to know some of you other ladies better. I am horrible with names, so I like having these GTKY things pop up often because then it helps me connect who is who!

You're welcome! I'm so glad so many have gotten in on it. I'm so glad your cats were okay! I started temping this month and I need to get better about temping at the same time every day. I had really wonky cycles before I started BC years ago so I'm hoping it will help me too.
My SO and I live in a small town in Mississippi, but work in another small town in Louisiana. I work in a liquor store and he works on oil rigs.
I just put my intro into this group today, but I'm not new to TB.
My SO and I started trying in February and got our bfp late July, before moving cross country. We had out miscarrage Labor Day weekend at just shy of 12 weeks. We thought we may never actively try again but decided we were ready about a month or so ago.
@jordangoodnight sorry for the post and run lol. Hanging with friends I haven't seen in over a year! I have a pekingnese/poodle mix (called a peek-a-poo) named Oliver. I don't think I mentioned this before, but I actually adopted him when he was a little older, rescuing him from a 4 year old ll l

Ya, the time away for rig work would have to be hard. It's great that you love your job though!
A little about me: My husband and I just moved back to OK 6 months ago after being gone for 6 years in North Carolina. We actually just got our offer accepted on our first house we're buying together and are getting ready to move for the second time this year (yikes!) I'm also a big runner although haven't been running quite as much lately due to some craziness at the job. MH and I have two goldens who always have to come say hello on furbaby Fridays, who we adore. We use to actually plan our vacations around the dogs (The Outer Banks where they can run on the beach, Asheville to go hiking). I work in academic medicine (not OB or anything related!).
How long have you been posting on TTCAL: I've been posting on TTCAL since October.
Where are you in your TTC journey: Well, we've been TTC for two years. My one and only BFP was following my second cycle of Clomid + TI with my RE. We found out in August, had a MMC at 8w1d in October. Took Cytotec, it seriously sucked. I'm currently drowning my sorrows in wine on CD1 following my BFFN after my first IUI cycle. Getting ready to start the Clomid insanity again on Saturday. Nothing like Clomid-rage for Christmas.
Me: 32 DH: 32
Met: 4/25/2004, Married 8/14/2010

TTC (actively) since 5/2013
5/2014 started testing with RE, me: HSG normal, normal AMH, no cysts; DH: great sperm
Unexplained IF + unexplained anovulation (post-pill vs hypothalamic)
@mrspipp What kind of fur babies do you have? I love animals
They are both mutts-one is a border collie/lab mix and the other is a pug mix. We just aren't sure about the mix part. I'll post pics in tomorrow's fur baby Friday!
A little about me: I work part time as an assistant to a chiropractor, but mostly I'm a SAHW. I have fibromyalgia and have been working with my docs to lessen the impact that has on my life. The latest changes have been diet, I am currently grain-free and sugar-free. I'll admit it really sucked at first, but I'm starting to get used to it. The best part is that it's really helping decrease my pain flair-ups. I love cooking and I playing with my fur baby, a 10 y/o yorkie-maltise.
How long have you been posting on TTCAL: I'm a newbie, I started posting about a week ago.
Where are you in your TTC journey:I had a natural MC of my first pregnancy earlier this month. We have been cleared to TTC, but have decided to NTNP this cycle and start TCC again next.
Hi, @jordangoodnight! Thanks for starting this. I guess it's my turn to play.
Tell me a little about yourself: My name is Mel and I'm a Maryland girl, born and bred. DH and I have been together for almost 10 years, married for 4. We actually met online right around the time I graduated from college (DH was already working full-time, he's 2 years older). I am a communications specialist for a university and write press releases, website news items, run my department's social media accounts, and whatever else my boss wants me to do. DH and I live a pretty typical life together... we spend time with friends and family, travel when we can (we're going to New Orleans next month), etc. We have a furbaby, Sophie (a Jack Russell/chihuahua mix, pictured in my avatar), who is such a sweetheart. We adopted her last January and she has filled our lives with so much joy (seriously, didn't think I could love a dog this much).
Oh, and I've always loved reading (mostly fiction). Right now, I'm very into YA dystopian lit, but I also love the classics, like "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "The Great Gatsby." I'm currently reading "Red Rising" by Pierce Brown.
How long have you been here (TTCAL)?: Since the beginning of November 2014.
Where are you in your TTC journey?: My first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage in September 2014 (I had a D&C Sept. 30). I was devastated. DH and I are officially off the bench this month, so we'll see what the future holds.

I am a Southern girl, complete with the thick accent, that I may or may not play up to make people look at me weird. We have to get enjoyment somewhere people. Don't judge me. Born and raised in Alabama. I work as a Parent Educator and do home visits with my clients. I am really sarcastic, but people think I am funny so it's like this:
How long have you been here (TTCAL)? I have been here since October 2013, so a little over a year.
Where are you in your TTC journey? We are IF now, which sucks. Since our first loss my body has systematically failed me. Right now, we are taking a treatment break, which sucks and scares me. So, we are all natural right now and my body is going WTF?
@Kateisoptimistic You're welcome I think it's so fun that you get to travel for work. Good luck on your appointment next week!
@megrae12 I have a sarcastic sense of humor too. Nothing better than a little sarcasm. lol I hope your body gets all lined out soon.

A little about me: I work as an insurance agent in coastal Georgia. My dad is the principal agent and it is a family run business. Working with my parents everyday has its ups and downs but mostly ups. I have to remind myself how fortunate I am to spend time with them everyday. My DH is an engineer at a paper mill which is why our laundry room permanently smells. We have a beagle named Tucker who is 3 years old. My hobbies include dancing, shopping, and spending time with our friends. Also, we have a few guilty pleasure t.v. shows such as Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Surivor, and my DH loves Bar Rescue. That is all I have for now. If you wanna know anything else just ask
