Hey guys. I've been on the board a bit for the past couple of months and I've noticed that a lot of you guys have really close bonds and know each other really well. I don't know much about anyone yet and I'm mostly mobile so I don't really see your siggys. So in an effort to get to know everybody here goes:

Tell me a little about yourself:
My life is pretty boring lol. I live in a small town in Oklahoma. But it's great. I get up, go to work at the family business (oilfield supply), go home and exercise and hang out with my family some more, go to bed and start again. I love to travel. You could throw a dart at a map and it will land somewhere that I want to go. I also love to bake and have a wicked sweet tooth. Lol

How long have you been here (TTCAL)?:
I've been posting since October

Where are you in your TTC journey?:
First pregnancy ended in MC, currently waiting to burn the bench (which should be around the end of this month!)

Also, please let me know if this is in any way offensive.

Hi :-h I'm a PSW at a special care home in New Brunswick, Canada. I love my job and my residents, but I seem to do nothing but work lol. I'm super crafty and do a little of just about everything. I've got a dog and 4 guinea pigs.

I've been posting on TTCAL since June.

MH and I have just made the choice to TTA until after we've made some choices on where our life is leading us.

@ktlovess‌ Your career sounds very cool. I was initially pre-med in college but decided to work with family instead. Sometimes I wish I had gone ahead with the pre-med but I also can't imagine not working with my family every day.

Tell me a little about yourself:
I live near DC and work from home with at home before and after care.  Actually, I hate it.  But I got into it when I couldn't work outside of the home because of Lyme disease complications.  I still get flair ups and never know when I am going to have a really painful day that prevents me from doing things like walking around.  On days that I am feeling ok, I have a tendency to push myself quite a bit and go on long distance bike rides, long hikes, and camping trips.  An offbeat hobby of mine is doing primitive skills and I go to primitive skills gatherings several times a year. 

How long have you been here (TTCAL)?:
I've been lurking since last October, but started posting in June I think. 

Where are you in your TTC journey?:
In February we will be at the five year mark of trying.  Since I just started a new cycle, we are at the point of stepping back from TTC because it's getting to be too much for our marriage.  I'm still hopeful, but it's too all consuming in our lives.

@jordangoodnight - I am still in career training, if that makes sense. With my BSc, MSc and PhD, I have been in school for 12 years. I still have 2 years of training (maybe 3).

Yes. That makes complete sense. The length of the education was partially why I strayed from pre-med. Kudos to you for sticking it out!

Your dog sounds adorable! I will have to check it out tomorrow.

@jordangoodnight Hehe, my husband was very much not outdoorsy at all before I dragged him to one of those events.  Suddenly he wanted to go to all of them at that point!  Now he loves to go hiking and biking and kayaking with me, which is awesome.

We are in month 5 of TTC after our 3rd loss that was an ovarian ectopic pregnancy. My current RE bailed and I am waiting to see a new RE and get a plan set up that may be the same or different. 

All your goodies sound amazing. I've always wanted to try my hand at bagels but I haven't been brave enough. Lol. I make mostly desserts. Your RE bailed?! That sucks. I hope you have good luck and like your new one.

Hi another boring insurance job here. I live in the Philadelphia area but grew up on Long Island (NY) Not much interesting about my life, I like to exercise mainly bc I like eat! We have a 9 yr old mini schnauzer we adopted and she is totally stubborn and spoiled and awesome. Oh and I'm mainly mobile so I feel you on the lack of siggy info

Where are you in your TTC journey?:
We had 2 mc's in 2013, after the 2nd we saw an RE. We have been trying for a 3rd pregnancy since 12/2013 and are now doing IVF. I just had my egg retrieval on Sunday

@Km380‌ Schnauzers are great. We had them growing up and they were the best dogs. Same here on the exercise lol. I have a serious problem when it comes to dessert lol.

I don't know much (really anything) about IVF but good luck!

I am sorry for your loss.  I have a huge sweet tooth as well that I find VERY hard to control at times. 

I live in Southern California with my wife and farm that consists of 5 cats and 2 dogs.  Currently, I manage procurement, inventory and planning for a part of the security division of a large manufacturer.  My hope is that once we are successful in TTC, I will be able to transition into fitness training which is a huge passion of mine. 

How long have you been here (TTCAL)?: I just started posting here earlier this month.

Where are you in your TTC journey?: We experienced a CP at the beginning of this month.  We were given the go ahead to continue TTC, so now, we are in the process of continue AI.

 I live Maryland and work for a local health insurance company.  My life isn't very exciting.  We just bought a new house in June.  We got a good deal on the house because the previous owner didn't do any updates.  DH and I are trying to fix up the house.  There is so much we want to do, but it's expensive.

 I have been posting here since December 2013, although I mainly post in the check in.  I'm trying post more on the regular board.

 We are currently in month 4 of our second loss.  We have been trying since August of 2012.  I started seeing an RE in October in 2013.  I got my first BFP the first month I saw my RE which ended in my first loss.  My second loss was in August of 2014.

I have my MFM in Art, but I rarely put this to use. I work as a departmentmanager for a local grocery store. I have been with my dh for 21 years married for 16. I love to play rockband, watch movies, and spending time in my garden.

Honestly I am sure the end is near. I will be 40 in 2015 and don't think it will be in the cards to take the more drastic approach of ivf. We were NTNP for 9 years before our bfp. For now I still hope every month and enjoy my time here with everyone.

Let's see..I'm a Business Continuity Planner, which is basically disaster planning for a company. DH and I got married in March in Mexico, where he's from. I'm still working on my Spanish, but I did okay spending two weeks with his family, none of whom speak any English. I tend to rotate hobbies, and right now I'm into quilting. 

How long have you been here (TTCAL)?:

I started posting in September.


Where are you in your TTC journey?:

I got pregnant in January of this year and miscarried late February/early March. I have PCOS, so even though we've "only" been trying for about 6 months, I just started seeing an RE. This week I'm doing all of my testing, and we'll regroup in January to make a plan. For now, I'm just focused on losing weight and getting healthy.

Tell me a little about yourself:
Fellow Okie here as well. Born & raised OK girl, in fact. H & I have a small cattle ranch in addition to "real jobs", which keeps us very busy. We also have 4 dogs (rhodesian ridgeback, corgi, aussie, & mini aussie). If we're not at home, we're probably at a cattle show or driving around buying calves. We both graduated from OSU (not together...we're over 11yrs apart). Go Cowboys!!! I love crafting, baking and drinking...not necessarily in that order.

How long have you been here (TTCAL)?:
I've been here since May/June (I forget exactly) 2013.

Where are you in your TTC journey?:
We've been TTC since Sept 2012. I had my first mc May 1, 2013. I'm currently TTA after suffering a second mc in Oct. I suffer from PCOS and lining issues. Considering moving onto a RE bc of my an-O cycles.

@LDubHawksFan‌ Being crafty is so much fun. This past weekend I added to my wedding scrapbook. For my wedding guestbook I made a scrapbook of my engagement pictures and then added my wedding pictures after, and I've added pictures of our anniversary trips every year since then.

@crimpgirl‌ If you don't mind me asking, what's your dream job? You are an ambitious exerciser! I love yoga but I don't do it as often as I'd like. I mostly do Ballet Beautiful and follow the Tone It Up girls weekly routines. It's hard not to get your hopes up. Good luck this cycle

Tell me a little about yourself :
I'm originally from the Boston area but moved to Florida when I was 12. I've been taking care of my father who is bipolar since I was 15 so I've never even thought about moving. MH and I are both into cars and we actually met on a car forim board. I have a supercharged Nissan 350z and he has a twin turbo one. Our passion is working on the cars together when we get the chance. I love to outdoors and prefer to be outside doing something.

We have a pup and just got a kitty a couple months ago and he's 5 years old (we got him after putting down our 19 year old cat, Spooky)

I'm a project manager and I have a love/hate relationship with my job. I think if I had a slower paced, less pressure job I would be bored.

How long have you been here (TTCAL)
I came here a about a week after introducing myself to PgAL in Oct when I suffered my third loss. I feel Iike I've been here much longer though (in a good way!)

Where are you in your TTC journey:
Currently benched until we see the RE on Jan 21st. MH and I just started trying shortly before we got married almost 2 years ago.

I am from Texas, but I live in central Florida. I am a professional chef for a major employer in the area.

H and I are proud "puppy parents" to a 4-year-old (today) golden retriever named India (because we like India Pale Ale).

We have been TTC since November 2013. I had a MMC in March. Currently I am under the care of an RE. I am on the bench for 3 months as she just removed 6 fibroids she thinks likely caused my mc and my subsequent inability to get pg again.

@Nikolie93‌ You and your husband would get along with my uncle. He is drag racer although he hasn't raced this year (my cousin is in HS and keeps him and my aunt busy with her activities). He's also currently in the process of restoring his first car. It's a street legal Camaro drag car. Good luck on your appt with the RE.

I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker working as a Mental Health Counselor for adolescents ages 12-21. I love my job although the pay is shit. I had been working as a social worker in a nursing home for 5 years, but after going back to school for my Master's I needed a change. I live in the Metro in MN and I love it. I also love the weather here (including winter). I read a lot and enjoy watching crap TV. Hubs and I started dating in 2007, moved in together in 2008, and got married in 2013. 

How long have you been here (TTCAL)?: I started posting on TTCAL on 10/21/14. 

Where are you in your TTC journey?:
I got my first BFP in early September....had my D&C on 10/16/14. We have had one cycle off the bench and I am currently on CD2 of my second cycle off the bench...

Stay at home wife - although it's never a dull moment!!! I kind of had to quit a full time job to be a caregiver to my dad who was terminally ill at the time (he passed away this past Aug.). Then I started the PT gig interpreting and it worked out!! I think your family business is fascinating! What's the typical stuff that just doesn't seem to stay stocked at an oil field supply place?!

Lol gotcha!! Reading through our inventory list is interesting! You would think we were super dirty people lol. We stock nipples, cocks, lube, and dope to name a few! None of it is anything like what it seems lol. But we carry everything you need to drill a well and produce oil.

A professional chef! Very cool! My mom, sister, and I watch food network constantly, we love to watch people cooking. I read your post earlier on your procedure and I hope you have a speedy recovery and your bench time flies by. I do feel like I'm getting to know everyone! I'm so glad I decided to post this. I almost chickened out. Lol
