So last night, DH drove around te neighborhood calling for the dog, but it was too late and dark to see anything. We figured he would come back when he got hungry, and then it snowed last night. Worried sick about the dog, DH drove around at 5 this morning looking for the poor guy. And I'm sitting here wondering how to tell DD that her dog is gone. I just put the other dogs outside to pee, and guess what?
The dog was in his kennel all night. He never even went out to pee in the first place. D'oh!
Also, does anyone else feel like they stink now? Even when a shower, put on real clothes, AND brush my teeth, I still feel like I smell like a garbage dump. So gross.
We're getting all the Thanksgiving ingredients. A wanted to nurse as soon as we parked so I sent my mom in ahead and stayed in the car to nurse. This guy who totally creeps me out walks by and I have to cover my face and duck so he doesn't see me. When A is done I put her in the sling and we go inside.
All is well until she unleashes three huge poops and I begin to doubt the gDiaper's integrity. So we make our first ever trip to the Walmart bathroom aka germ city. We wait in line for the changing table. The mom using it has a friend hold a blanket up so no one can see naked baby parts. Is this a thing?
When it's our turn I find out that the poopsplosion has wiped out the insert, liner and gpant (the outside part, and her white pants. I also realized I don't have a disposable diaper with me. Or an extra gpant. I do have more inserts though, PTL. So MOTY uses wipes to clean off the liner and diaper and throws away the white pants.
Just as I'm about to put the diaper on her she pees everywhere, soaking her onesie. My extra outfit for her is in the car. So I put her back in the sling with her naked little legs hanging out and we buy a new outfit and head back into the bathroom to change into it. I'm sure it looked like I was stealing the outfit but at this point I would have gladly engaged in a confrontation about it.
Changed and clean and in the sling we find my mom again but now A is frantic with hunger (6 weeks growth spurt) so the boob comes out (not very gracefully so you're welcome, people of Walmart-- merry Christmas! You saw my boob!) and we nurse in the sling for the rest of the shopping trip.
I must say that straining to reach produce that is too high for this short lady with my boob in use while baby wears a new sleeper that was on the rack five minutes ago is weirdly empowering.
And honestly the strangest part of the trip was not any of this but rather the preteen girl who was walking around in footie pajamas. Yes, her mom was in pajamas, too.
Definitely not letdown. That's an entirely different pain!
I get the same thing. No infection to speak of. Hopefully yours is the same!
But if one of the kids or I talk to her she laughs, giggles, and talks.
She goes to her Dad's on weekends and lives with her Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt and sister and visits her mom's BF. So she's around men she just freaks for DH... It's bizarre!!!
They said they may do a Barium enema XRay next week and I don't know what they are looking for. I think they are worried about an obstruction or an inflammation? Not sure. They are supposed to call today but haven't yet.
Really? These are so painful it almost takes my breath away.
