I have sharp stinging shooting pains randomly throughout the day. Some in the boob, some starting in the nipple. If it comes back again, I'm so done. The pain is becoming a source of serious frustration for me.
Is it possible you could be feeling your milk let down? I EBF but every once in a while I get a random painful let down when LO isn't even near me.
I get the same thing. No infection to speak of. Hopefully yours is the same!
Really? These are so painful it almost takes my breath away. Stinging, burning, shooting pains. Yours too?
I get this same pain when my milk lets down, and it is worse if I miss a pump and it does it.
Hope everyone gets answers for ailments of yours and littles.
I think the 6week growth spurt has begun. Wanting to eat all the time but fussing at the boob each time. Eating for short times, then sleeping for 10min wake up, repeat. Crying for no reason. And a new issue-sweating?
Anyone's LO sweating? The house temp is only 68. She was in a long sleeve sleeper w no feet and no blanket. The back of her neck and upper back was all sweaty when I picked her up from her bouncer. No fever.
Baby is struggling with gas and what seems like constipation doctor wants to run tests if it continues. My poor baby (
What are the symptoms and what tests would they run? My boy seems has also been struggling with gas and major poop pains that make me think he's constipated, but he's still pooping...
Eta- oops should've finished reading the thread before posting..
She poops every 6 days and is very uncomfortable the last two - fussy lots of latching and un latching. She has green poop also. This has been consistent since she came home from the hospital.
Hope everyone gets answers for ailments of yours and littles.

Yep all my kids are sweaty little monsters! DS is in just a onesie in our 68° house and sweats like crazy. They get it from their dad... I'm cold sitting here.

DS sweats all the time. He sleeps in short sleeved onesies in a 68 degree room and still sweats. No fever. My pedi says he just runs hot.

Hi everyone! I hate that I haven't been around here. School has been crazy and so much work and it's such a time consumer to go into my bump app. I've been hangin out on FB a little more.
@Saragoeswest that's the best Walmart story I've heard! I had a similar occasion the other day when Lo wanted to nurse, pooped while nursing, and dd1 then peed through her pull-up. It was a good time.
@savagek7 I don't get punched but LO scratched my chest up. I had to ask Dh if the mark on my neck was him or LO. Lol
My house is already smelling of thanksgiving! Pumpkin pies are baking & smell wonderful! Normally I do everything because we host each year but mom & grandma are here taking the reins this year. Meanwhile I'm just nursing babies & directing!

All my nursing tanks are dirty today and I need to leave the house -- just make-shifted one by safety pinning a regular tank to a nursing bra.
I tried that, but I've found just pulling it down works better for me. Though it might not for you if your boobs are larger. I also don't care if i stretch them out.
Last night DD put the dogs in the backyard to pee, but when DH brought them back in, only two came in. We assumed the other got out in a whole in the fence, which he had done before, but we fixe the fence.
So last night, DH drove around te neighborhood calling for the dog, but it was too late and dark to see anything. We figured he would come back when he got hungry, and then it snowed last night. Worried sick about the dog, DH drove around at 5 this morning looking for the poor guy. And I'm sitting here wondering how to tell DD that her dog is gone. I just put the other dogs outside to pee, and guess what?
The dog was in his kennel all night. He never even went out to pee in the first place. D'oh!
If it makes you feel better, we thought our cat had gotten out, we searched high and low, plastered the neighborhood with flyers, went door to door, posted online.....turns out she was in a rarely used kitchen cupboard....for 3 days. She never made a sound, the only way I found her was because I heard a tinkling of glass as vases knocked together. Thank goodness we found her then! She was so thirsty and hungry....needless to say, that cupboard got a good scrubbing.
I'm starting to hate bf just because I feel gross all the time. I have to wear clothes that make the boobs accessible, so when I'm home I'm pretty much topless 24/7. My boobs are always leaking everywhere, and on the chance I'm out and in real clothes, nursing pads can't keep it contained. I just feel like a big whale of a mess.

I feel the same way, I feel gross all the time. I think that is one reason why I switched to pumping during the day, I needed to feel better about myself and that I wasn't just a drippy mess.

@mrssarahrenee are her poops mucousy as well as green? Are you BF or FF? I would look into cutting dairy and soy. If FF, Similac Alimentum was best for DS though, YMMV.
If you're bf. Green poo can be a sign of too much foremilk...maybe @emerald27 can elaborate as I don't know the details??
BF. They said it could be viral or indicative something is going on since it is coupled with other symptoms? I have an oversupply so I suspect foremilk issue but who knows. I wish they would just call me!!
For some reason my neighbors have their kids basketball net on the back patio. Our bedroom is on the back side of the house next to said back patio. Neighbor kid is bouncing a basketball. I am about to go insane with the constant bouncing. I want to take nap here people.
Today is my last day of maternity leave alone at home. I have so much to do before we head 3 plus hours away for Thanksgiving but I can't put him down. Getting in all my sweet snuggles.
Last year we spent it at the hospital while my grandmother recovered from surgery. So already projected to be better.
@caranichole Have I mentioned how awesome I think it is that you are doing grad school? I can't believe how much time/effort you are putting in plus you have a newborn! Totally impressed. Someday your LOs will be too! Good luck!!

Could it have been spit up? I thought LO was sweaty then realized after seeing it happen it was actually spit up. Sometime she has slightly milky white spit up (it's more clear) and it's enough to soak the back of her head and top of her back. She does this when lying down and doesn't get any on her front.
@MrsSarahRenee sorry to hear LO is struggling. I know that's hard.

That means a lot and is so encouraging! I ask myself what the heck I was thinking nearly everyday. Dh accidentally broke my new laptop and my new phone not long ago and I often feel incredibly defeated. Like no matter how hard I work, there's always something to do or take care of it and I find myself weighing importance. I do it for my kids though. I just want to make sure I set an example of not giving up for them. And I really do enjoy school. Homework allows me to "get away" without actually going anywhere sometimes.
DS just got his shots. Oh, the screams. We're nursing in the room at the doctors right now. I'm not looking forward to the hour drive I have ahead of me.
I moved C into her one size CDs today as a trial and DH just complained that there are too many snaps and he couldn't figure out how to take it off. Ummm, same concept as diaposibles but with snaps rather than tape tabs. #-o

It is so hard not to big sister my siblings while they are in the kitchen making their Thanksgiving dishes. I want to micromanage but I'm going to try to drink my sangria and shut up.
@Kaylajade8911 They want me to watch her over the weekend and if she is still gassy & constipated they want to do the Barium Enema XRay next week. They are comfortable waiting because it isn't hard poop. If that changes, I have to call. Praying for poop - plenty of good healthy poop!
We are less than 90 minutes from our destination and we just had a diaper blowout all over DS, me, the bed in the motor home, and my mom's toiletries bag.

Mine's stocking-less too....I haven't found the perfect one yet.

I really miss my husband. And my family. Holidays are always tough when he's at work and I live 1,000 miles away from my family.
Praying for poop - plenty of good healthy poop!
Sorry you are feeling lonely. Big hugs!
