Experiencing a real FWP over here: I put my bagel in the toaster, forgot about it, sat down and started my morning pump. So now I'm stuck across the room for 15 minutes without my bagel. The struggle is real, guise.
But we slept well!
Today is going to be kind of a marathon. I'm cramming extra classes into my schedule because no school the next two Fridays. I've got a meeting tonight. Blech.
Doing okay. Last night went better than anticipated. Still up every 2 hours, but nothing crazy. I have to go to work for a bit this morning, and then clean my house this afternoon because we're having an inspection on Wednesday. (WTF to this rental company - it's an inspection to take a look at "the general upkeep of the house." I also have to go buy new air filters because they'll charge us if they're not new. ?!?!?!??)
In other news...
My MIL sent some new clothes for W, including Jeggings. My baby is officially more stylish than I am.
@tessymessy I'm good. Smoking at a bus stop? That's not good. I hope you use strong words to get your point across. And if it continues, I'd call the school district, explain the situation, and request a new bus stop.

Apparently Carl still thinks it's 1963. He lives on a co-op commune, doesn't care when the rent is paid ("Sometime that month, dude") and randomly replaces appliances because he's too lazy to fix them. He's also taken to calling Mr. Pup just to chat, and tell him about all his commune friends and their shenanigans.
Good morning! DS slept for 11 hours straight last night, but of course I was up several times just because. This is my coffee this morning.

Very close! It says Minestrone Add Pasta. It was the biggest disposable container I could find to house my new iced coffee addiction. It works and it just barely fits in my car cup holder.
OMG!!!! I was sort of half joking, thinking it must be a coffee related scribble and/or your name!
@shellbell3845, not only does he let Mr. Pup grow stuff, but he secured an old carpet for Mr. Pup to lay out in the backyard to kill the grass. So that they can plant things. <----apparently Carl is going to be involved in our gardening efforts.

shellbell3845 One of the other parents brought it up before the kids got on the bus... she got very defensive and started dropping F-bombs and told us that she can smoke anywhere she wants outside. Then she told us all to go F ourselves and she walked away as the bus was pulling up.
I'm so aggravated that she acted that way in front of little kids and I feel bad for her son who was obviously embarrassed. The other mom was upset because her son has asthma and that is why she asked her not to smoke at the bus stop. She told me she is going to call the school and complain. I just don't understand why this woman cannot refrain from smoking for 5 minutes at the bus stop. #classy

This morning LO was all cuddly and clingy. He wanted to play, but wanted one hand on me at all times. It was adorable, but I also really hope it doesn't last all day.

This thread has made me lol about 15 times this morning.
I just talked to Mr. Pup and I told him you guys loved Carl too. He informed me that Carl was apparently over yesterday hanging out on our roof. Mr. Pup asked why he was up there, and Carl goes "well man, I'm just checking out this tile and making sure it's good to go. But it's pretty sweet up here with the birds, man."
Also, Carl is trying to convince Mr. Pup to build a green house in the backyard because "nature is nurture, dude."
This week I took my class to watch some older students present their fruit projects they'd been working on for PE, well one of the students had trouble reading a word so the PE teacher helped.. She walked up and read from the poster "Avacado is a natural aphrodisiac." Cue excessive amounts of laughter from all of the adults. I have no idea why she actually read the word, she even emphasized aphrodisiac. "Mrs.Iwubrory, avacados are good, why is everyone laughing?"
Mr Because Tired got up at 4:30 am to go fishing again. I shouldn't complain, because it gets him and his annoying one line singing out of my house. But seriously? AND yesterday Mr Because Tired complained that he was, yes, tired, because "I got up at 4:30 yesterday morning" Oh really? 4:30 you say? I wonder what that's like? I haven't seen 4:30 am since... Oh right, every day! Douche

Mornin ladies! It's frickin GORGEOUS outside right now! Like, I can't believe it. Last week was humid and 104 and right now it's 75 and just wow. I hope this weather stays! It puts me in such a great mood. I think I'll take LO to the park to play as soon as grandpas care giver gets here
@JoyBaby5 have you saved the videos to your computer? Just plug it in with the USB cable and save l the videos into a folder (when you plug it in, it should ask if you want to import the pictures and videos) and then you will have them to put on a DVD

Today I'll be driving around town picking up 5- 5 gallon kegs from breweries for an event tomorrow. I have no idea how heavy they are or if they'll fit in my car but here goes!
We are on night two of the sleep Lady's gentle sleep train method and things are going OK. I got LO to bed after he nursed (rather than nursing to sleep) but the rest of the night was torture. I won't bore anyone with the details but if anyone else has used this method, shoot me a PM so we can compare notes. My first kid slept like a champ from day 1 and this poor kid got all messed up w sickness and travel so we are trying this so he gets more rest (and us too!).
I hope to create a real siggy but first I need some sleep!
