I'm so confused. Why wouldn't she just call OB if she was in that amount of pain? I mean getting checked by ob probably would have helped. I really don't get people. I mean, I've had some stupidmpregnancy worries, but hey thats what your OB is there for.

If I remember correctly, she did call labor and delivery. They confirmed that it was, indeed, just a poop

I really wish I had seen the original post. I'm not trying to be mean, but she still thought she was "pushing" baby out even after they told her she just had to poo? Just ridiculous.

She had pain so she got in the bath and felt the urge to push. So she pushed and pushed and pushed (thinking she was having an m/c) until she passed a series of bowel movements. It took her thirty minutes to realize it and then she called her doc who confirmed it was indeed just constipation that caused her pain.

I do feel bad for her (OP), and am glad she and baby are ok.

I know pregnancy is different for everyone, but isn't pushing poo out different than pushing baby? This is my first baby, so not sure, but I've seen birth a few times and it honestly seemed different.

Contractions felt like stomach cramps to me. When I got to the hospital I told the nurse that I really needed to poop and went into the bathroom. She realized I was pushing and yelled at me not to deliver the baby on the toilet. So ya, delivering DD was really like pushing out the biggest turd of my life.

There. I just shared the exact opposite story of OP. Thought she was having the baby = poo. Thought I was having a poo = baby. This thread has come full sphincter I mean circle.

@Lauradi1010‌ they tell you to push like you're having a bowel movement. I pushed for 2 1/2 hours and pooped at least twice during delivery.

If this for real. WTF. Really that's gross. Just saying. I mean if you we're having a water birth okay but to deliberately poop in the water and sit in it. I'm gagging. Someone needs to tell this person to go to the doctor to make sure they do not have that vaginal infection from getting shit in your vagina. What is it called? Anyone? Yuk!!

So is it somehow against TOU if I just happened to "stumble across" (aka DH like technology and was able to find it) the cached version of this post and found her original post, managed to take a screen shot of it, and can upload the image?  O:-)
