Good morning pumpkins!

I started follistim Monday night and added menopur to the mix last night.  So far I am not nearly as bruised as I was last cycle, although my first follistim shot left a giant bruise.  My first monitoring appointment is next monday and if things go similarly to last cycle, I should be triggering around wednesday for ER on Friday.  I also have my intra lipid infusion on monday, which will make monday a long day.

QOTD:  I think I would like a penguin.  With the ganirelix hot flashes that I have been having, I think we could live together quite peacefully.   Plus, penguins are pretty cute.

AFM:  Of our 7 fertilized one one made it to full blast to freeze, so that will be our FET chance hopefully in November.  But a U/S on Tuesday showed a huge hemorrhagic cyst (blood filled) so I hope it shrinks in time.

QOTW:  I too would love a penquin.  I've collected them for Christmas decor since I was in second grade when I became obsessed with them.

@geordie314, good luck!  I hope it goes well!

My big news of the day is that I have my FET scheduled for 10/22.  I go in for an u/s on the 16th, so fingers crossed that my lining looks good and I get the go-ahead for the 22nd.  I really can't believe that it is happening, and have a fear that it is going to be delayed again.  

I was drinking the red raspberry leaf tea but quit b/c I was having cramps and thought it might be related.  So, hoping my acupuncture and long walks will help w/ the uterine lining!  

Feeling a bit emotional and anxious!

I had a SIS yesterday and my RE seemed pretty excited about how "beautiful" my uterus is. lol He sounded like a photographer as he told the nurse, "Oh yeah, let's get a shot of that. Wow, let's take a picture from that angle too." It was the 1st time I've met him in person and I really liked him. So Monday I start loads of estrogen and ET is still planned for the 30th!

ETA: I always forget the QOTD! I would love to have a panda. They are just the cutest!!

We have our ET tomorrow just waiting for the call to tell us what time to be there!! FX all seven are doing good so they can pick the best two and freeze the rest.  Do nervous for our first ET!

QOTD: I would have to go with @Katib77 and get a penguin. I have always loved penguins, my husband proposed at the penguin encounter at Moody Gardens and I have the looney toons penguin tattooed on my left foot.

I'm two days past ER and did not get a call from the embryologist today, which is a good thing. They'll only call again with bad news. My heart was in my throat this morning when the phone rang, but it was just a colleague from work asking me to cover her because she was late. Whew! I was instructed to call tomorrow at 8:30am to find out if we will have a 3- or 5-day transfer. 

QOTD: this is so impractical, but I'd want a pet giraffe. I just love them

hi! my ER was 10-04-13, a day early because my progesterone spiked. Due to this we had to do a freeze all. I am now waiting for FET. Don't have a date yet. Thinking they might push me back to November sometime.

QOTD: I would have a koala bear. I love how they sleep in the trees in little round balls.

@twinkie0612 - I had bad bruising too with the follistim! Which is weird because it's not an especially painful shot or anything.

@tigger99 - I always take hugs! good luck tomorrow! Hope you get to start the madness soon!

@katib77 - I am praying so hard for your little blast for November.

@walker14 - hang in there girl! FX for a great transfer on the 22nd!

I'm 2dp5dt and just hanging out over here. My RE has me on bed rest from ET through today, and it's boring. I'm analyzing every little twinge and ache and cramp of course

Had an estrogen check on Wednesday and my level looked good. Up to 2 pills a day and going back on Monday to check again. Still on for the 25th for the actual ET.

QOTD: A panda! Only if it was cuddly. And not smelly.

@ sorrellam30 Awww don't worry!  Lots of people don't have symptoms, I haven't felt anything other than mild, at best, cramps.  What day is your beta?

As for me, as I'm sure you gals saw I got a faint line this morning, but it certainly wasn't a squinter!  My beta still isn't until next Tuesday, so I still have some time to over analyze everything.  But as of today I'm pregnant!!!  I'm praying to everything and everyone and crossing every crossable part of my body that this little bean sticks!

QOTD: I think I would go with a giraffe.  Because they're tall and quiet.  And I'm tall and quiet.  And it was the first animal that I thought of haha.

My 6 eggs were retrieved yesterday & 2 of them have fertilized.  If they survive, we will transfer on Saturday morning.  I am very, very anxious for them.  2 is such a tiny number.

Not much going on here....
OHSS seems to be clearing up: I know this because I can eat again (YAYA), I'm shrinking in size (I'll take any victory at this point), my mood is leveling out (makes the hubby happy), my cat likes me again (clear indication that I'm disembarking from the crazy train), it doesn't HURT TO SIT (this means more to me than anything), and my boobies shrunk back to their normal size!

I'm still waiting to hear from my RE about my embies and when they are freezing them today (not that they care that I'm anxiously checking my phone every 5 mins); hopefully my little ones are safe and growing strong.

QOTD:
I'm a big time animal lover and I would own a zoo if I could.. I have a top 3 exotic animal list: a squirrel monkey, an arctic fox, and a giraffe... But my DH has settled on me getting a couple of pygmy goats.... So that might be my next big pet purchase.

My cycle is officially postponed to November. I'm okay with this because my RE really seems this is best. My progesterone level was elevated at trigger so we are going to do a freeze all given the embryos are okay (as indicated by PGD testing).

I think I would want a polar bear- how cute are they?

I am still in the TWW.  I keep going back on whether or not I'll POAS.  I think I've decided that I will tonight.  Beta is moved up to tomorrow...so we will know tomorrow afternoon.  I don't have a good feeling at all...just something about my body telling me it didn't work.

QOTD: Some sort of bear...maybe a koala bear? They look so cuddly!

I wish that we could have a growth update tomorrow.  We do not get any more updates until Saturday morning when the lab calls to tell us what time to report for transfer - or not.  Is it poor form to call & ask....perhaps tomorrow late morning?

I responded to your other thread but the lab wants to expose your embryos as little as possible, so try to stick it out

I'm actually okay with this! I've been feeling like poop since ER and I like that hopefully I'll feel a little better by the FET. I also trust my RE so hopefully he's right! We are actually doing PGD testing this cycle-as of now I have 6 embryos and I will find out tomorrow how many made it to PGD testing then we will see how many are okay from that. I also have 2 frozen embryos from my other cycle that will stay frozen. How many do you have? We're looking at the second week of November for FET-you?

At first I was really disappointed, I think just because we had come so far. Originally I was told by our first RE that he didn't expect me to respond at all, or get 1 egg. He said we should go straight to donor eggs. We switched and my new RE actually listens to us. I did respond and got 6 mature eggs. (which was better than I was expecting) all fertilized but they froze the best 3 on Tues. I never heard about the others (1 I know stopped at 4 cell- the other two were at 6 cell but I never got a call on those)

I don't know when they are planning the FET. I was told to call when I start. but I think they are going to wait an entire cycle.

And your right, I was feeling pretty crappy, bloated crampy, pain... crabby! so I am ok with it now. I am glad my body can get back to normal and I just pray these little frozen embryos are going to make the thaw. I told my best friend that I need to knit my three embies some blankets!

10 matured. I will get another call tomorrow regarding their progress.

Hi pumpkins! Hope everyone's having a good week. I'm 4dp5dt and have my beta next Monday. Of course I've been over analyzing all of my symptoms and at times feel like my period could be coming (crampy and low back pain). Wishing everyone the best!

Well nothing like progesterone and double BCP 2x a day to send your hormones into whacky smacky overdrive. I seriously cannot go more than 12 hours without crying about something including a song on the radio. WTH?

Monday is my next and 3rd "pre-IVF" appointment. Please please please let me start the injections soon!!!!

QOTD: I love monkeys! They are so cute and playful. I would totally love to have a small or medium sized one like Ross on Friends or something.

Me too, ahhh.  Hoping we both get good news tomorrow.  Its good you know how they are doing, I have no idea.  Don't worry if you went through ER, ET is nothing.  The worst part was having a full bladder.  It was similar to an IUI for me. GL

Hiya I'm super duper late for this party! Today I increased my estrogen patches to 2. My thighs are getting really bruised up with the Lupron, it just started happening this week. Think they have just had it with me pinching them. In a week I go in again for baseline and u/s if everything looks great we finally get to fertilize some eggs!!!
QOTW: a koala, no doubt. I have always loved them and being able to hold one when I traveled to Australia made me love them even more!
