M's latest love is Diego....she wants to watch him all the time.
Addie's favorite right now is little Einstein. I can't stand the 4 kids, the little blonde girl always sounds bratty to me. But I do like when Addie does the pat pat pat and shouts out, Allegro! Presto! etc. We started watching Disney because it has no commercials and she liked winne the pooh. I haven't gone to Nickelodeon yet, I can't stand most of those (same with Barney). Poor kid won't know the kiddie pop culture since it bugs me. I never thought I'd be a Disney mom. But it's funny, I remember how much I loved Beauty and The Beast so I've been looking for it. Darn Disney and their limited releases I can't find it anywhere. even on netflix.

sadly... I am fostering the "Wiggles"... it's 24 minutes that Joe and I get to snuggle and I even know the songs. "::::: insert eye roll:::::
the rest of the time, Joey is off and running but for that 24 minutes, usually at 6:00am... we get to snuggle.

I think Matt likes the Wiggles as much as Addie. He always up dates me on Captain Featherswords antics.
We were totally PBS with all of our shows, but then Elena started waking up pre-6:30 am, and instead of actually getting up with her, we let her watch shows from our bed. And PBS here in Austin does not have children's programming pre-6:30 am.
Woe is me.
So we started watching Disney. I like and she loves Little Einsteins. I HATE Mouseketeers -- totally loath the made-up words. No value whatsoever. Enjoyed Higglytown Heroes, but that disappeared after the New Year (and she LOVED singing their "you can be hero, just like me" song all over the house). Handy Manny is fine. On the whole, much prefer PBS.
Reagan was tossing and turning at 5:30 this morning so I snatched her out of her bed and threw her in with me since DH and already left and we slept til 7:30. It was wonderful and all she wanted to do was cuddle which is rare for her. I loved every moment of it.
I hope I am able to have moments like that with her after #2 is born.

Talk about wt baby. I'm going out so I ordered DH pizza. When I opened the door Addie came running out in just a diaper shouting PIZZA over and over. classy.
in my defense she had on a dress but was wearing most of her soup so I took it off.
my 2 year-old is screaming at me because she wants pizza for breakfast.
My middle school home-ec teacher always said pizza for breakfast was fine, as long as it was veggie only...lol. I still eat it for breakfast! Though I also eat cake for breakfast because my dad always said it was better than a doughnut.

yeah, i learned in health class that pepperoni pizza is one of the only "single" foods (as opposed to a meal) with all 4 food groups.
i also regularly eat choc chip cookies for bfast.
not saying you should let maddie have pizza for breakfast, BUT as you know if you read SA on the houston board, i have a hard time with this is a breakfast food, this is a dinner food. who wrote those rules?
and LOL at maddie for wanting to eat like a teenager! just tell her princesses don't eat pizza for breakfast. ha!
I really need to go through my clothes and put away the maternity stuff that I will no longer wear and find the things I can fit into. It seems like such a daunting task though.... my closet it quite scary!

Kaitlyn eats Mac n Cheese and Spaghetti/Ravioli (the lil gerber ones) for breakfast a LOT. lol We eat breakfast for dinner sometimes, why not dinner for breakfast!
Ugh, I really need to stay off of google, or Friday really needs to get here. ?I'm starting to worry that I've harmed my baby.
?I have very mild asthma. ?So mild I usually go through only two rescue inhalers a year. ?Well, I was one of the lucky ones this pregnancy who has had an increase in asthma attacks. ?For weeks I was needing my inhaler at least twice a day. ?I even had to get a refill. ?I stubbornly didn't go to the doctor because I kept thinking it would get better and I didn't want to get on a preventative. ?I finally caved at about 20 weeks. ?I've been on a preventative since then and my symptoms have almost completely gone away.
?Now I keep reading about how uncontrolled asthma during pregnancy can lead to preterm labor, low birth weight, or small babies for gestational age. ?Combine that with the fact that my doctor is worried I'm too small and I'm stressing that my stupid stubbornness in the beginning has caused a problem.
i have somehow lost a pair of designer maternity jeans. when i was pg with T, i promised i would buy myself a kickass pair of jeans and never did, so as soon as i could this time, i bought myself a great (well, 2 great ) pair. now the ones i wear all.the.time are gone. i have torn my whole house apart looking for them and honestly don't remember the last place i saw them. i am beside myself- i hate not being able to find things. it makes me feel crazy. plus, the other ones are hemmed to be worn with very high heels so now i don't have my cute jeans to wear anymore... ugh.
I seriously do not know how you stay at home moms do it. I am just not cut out for it... he is into everything and we can't go anywhere because of the bad weather. what do you do to kedep your toddler busy?
I am upstairs in the gameroom right now, with my laptop letting him play with all of his toys up here... but he's done.
I feel like a horrible mom.
Savannah... I am so sure that you did not hurt your baby..... try not to google anymore, k?

Have you traveled recently and left them packed in a bag or at a family member's? ?Did you take them to the cleaners? ?Good luck! ?I hate when I can't find things!?
I think of myself as a pretty upbeat and positive person. If any of you see me differently, can you please tell me? Jason said that I complain a lot about the time I spend with Joe. I love the time I spend with Joe... I guess I wish he were more present when he IS home but I love my little boy and love the new little nuances he learns every day. this makes me sad.

quit googling! you know these things (smallness) aren't usually caused by moms. you're a great mom, I'm sure it's fine or your dr would have brought up the connection by now.
DH is going out tonight and I am already worried about dealing with Connor alone, dinner time, bathtime, etc. plus I have some laundry to folder, papers to grade...
I don't know how those of you who stay at home or those with husbands who travel alot do it. I love my kid, but he wears me out pretty quickly.
dh left for a ski trip this morning, so i am not going to work until i drop off maddy. but i'm starting to think i don't want to go to work at all at that point!
he says that I complain about being tired and that it doesn't seem like I am enjoying him.
anyway!
My mom and dad are watching Joe next week while we are in Vegas for the World of Concrete and I am worried. I am so used to his little idiosyncrasies and well... I just don't want them to think he's difficult. ie... wakes up at 4:55 am wanting to play and I let him knowing he'll go back to sleep an hour or so later.
I took Joe to a follow up appointment today and the doc found that he had an ear infection... ugh! Poor guy... I had no idea. The doc also said his wound is healing nicely... yay!
So I am home alone with the kids. I took them both upstairs with me to get Alex ready for bed. I was kissing him goodnight when he suddenly looked behind me out into the hall and said "Mommy, who is that?"
I turned and looked and no one was there. But it really creeped me out and gave me the heebie jeebies. Then he asked me like 3 times "Who is that downstairs?" I tried to ask him what he meant - maybe he heard the dogs and thought it was a person... But pumping a two year old for that kind of info rarely works.
Creepy!!!

OMG. That would really creep me out. I know kids have great imaginations, but they are also supposed to be more susceptible to the supernatural. We'd have all been holing up in my room after that.

Hospital bill for F's birth: $4700
Hospital bill for my U/S two weeks ago: $1750
That just seems outrageous! It took all of 15 minutes. Thank goodness I didn't have to pay a dime.

These weather changes are wreaking havoc on Avery's sinuses. Poor thing is coughing all night because of the drainage.
I am really, really scared about delivering Deux even though I have done it before and it wasn't that bad (with 2 doses of Stadol and an epidural).
