Ergo wearers: where did you get yours?

And do they REALLY cost $105?  Sheesh!  I mean, DH's shoulders are all messed up from too much Bjorn usage (I should say, "improper Bjorn usage") but $105???  Worth the $$$?

Re: Ergo wearers: where did you get yours?

  • Online.

Yes, they really cost that much.

And yes, they are totally worth it.   Big Smile

  • search the website for a location to buy. I recommend trying one on first, so find a store near you if you can and try it on.

I'm not sure if it's really worth it. Still hurts my back in the front carry, but it's awesome in the back carry.

  • I got mine for christmas and I love it!  Worth every penny!  I got mine on pamperedtot.com and I used a coupon code from retailmenot.com  $135 and got it for $108.  I could carry her on my back all day!

  • See, that's the thing, we take her on the subway and I would not at all feel comfortable with her on my back (not to mention we couldn't sit down).  If the front carry still hurts the back, that may not solve the problem. Of course, my back isn't the one that's hurting, it's DH...hmmm....I think I will take LOTR's advice and try one on first.

ditto on all 3 accounts. dd is 20lbs and the only way i get her to last until her already super early bedtime is to carry her around while cleaning the house. i love the front carry because i can kiss her little forehead every so often but i also love the back carry so i can actually do dishes and not feel like i'm pregnant reaching around my middle again. either way it's no pain and all bonding and rainbows!!

    And then some.

pain resulting from the front carry has never ever ever been my experience. we went to the mall this xmas and i had her in the front carry for 2hrs and the whole time dh and i were just praising the thing.......it allowed us to jet about shopping and dd got to see everything and nap........all next to mom :) we were both in relative heaven. again, dd is only 20lbs though. maybe it's diff if they're heavier? i hope not, i love the front carry!!

  • I got mine from BuyBuyBaby and they accept 20% off coupons from Bed Bath and Beyond (as long as they aren't expired). ?Totally worth it!!!
  • Online.  Amazon maybe?  It was only $98 at the time though (still expensive).

Ever since we could back carry DS, it has been a favorite.  I wasn't a fan of front carrying because we both got too sweaty.

Oh, and I've taken him on the subway on my back and haven't had a problem with standing or sitting.  But, we get on at the first stop of the line, so I'm able to find a double seat and sit sideways.
