Back from NT Scan!

The doctor said that everything looked really good, measurements looked normal, heartrate was 163. Baby was wiggling all over the place, it was so cute! She said that the nasal bone was formed and that's a good sign as far as Downs goes. It looks like the tiny clot that was seen at my first ultrasound is reabsorbing too! So yay!

The tech took my blood while DH went to get the car, and she said "girl, he is handsome!" lol. Of course DH was right around the corner and heard, so he loved that!

Hurray! I am so jealous! My NT scan is on Tuesday and I am so angsty about it. Had you not seen your baby since 8 weeks? You are a patient woman.

I would like to see a picture of your DH please!

I'm glad that your NT Scan went well! To me that was such an amazing u/s because they look so much like a baby and you can see them moving all over the place.

Nope! Not since 8 weeks, and this one was so cool! It wasn't just a blob like at my first u/s (the machines aren't that great, really just used to confirm and date).

I'm spoiled this week and I have a reg appt on Friday, so hopefully i get to hear the heartbeat then too.

I do but I need to scan them. We don't have a scanner, but my best friend lives a few streets over so I'll see if I can get them in tonight. I'll page you. I know some of the girls have pics from their 12 week u/s in their bios too.

Congrats!

Mine was supposed to be yesterday but with the weather it's been rescheduled to next Tues. I'm excited & nervous all at the same time. Dh is going too so it'll be the 1st time he's seen the baby.

I went for mine yesterday but they told me I was not far enough along and the baby was not big enough. UGH! They are the ones that scheduled the appointment for me so I figured they would know when I needed to come in. So, I have to go back next Tuesday which is actually better because DH had a list minute meeting he couldn't get out of yesterday and couldn't come with me. I did get to have an u/s though and hear the heartbeat which was very reassuring. So it wasn't a total waste of an appt.
