A lady I work with named her daughter "Christina" but they call her "Nina".

I think it's cute.

Although, it's the name my cousins used to call my grandmother, so to me it's the equivalent of Nanna. I'm not sure if that's common at all though -- it might have just been a baby talk thing that turned into a permanent name.
