Spotting or Light? (TMI?)

I felt like AF came at work. I saw brown when I wiped and was pressed for time so I used a tampon. When I took it out when I got home I saw red on it, but only see faint brown and very little when I wipe. What should I mark it on FF?

I say if you don't NEED a tampon (I think this is what FF says too) than it's spotting.

I would say spotting as well. But it's not over till AF rears her ugly head.

I have read, if it's brown, it's spotting....first day of red can be light-heavy.

I had a dance class last night and I was having cramps and stuff before so I put a tampon just to be safe. Came home at 9:30 and checked and there was just a little red and brown on it. I marked yesterday as spotting on my chart b/c I wouldn't have known unless I wasn't shoving Qtips/tampon up my vag to check. Then I marked today as CD1. And boy did AF come with a vengeance.

I mark it "light" if there is any red involved and "spotting" if its only brown.
