I breastfeed for 6mons so i've only ever been able to give ds 3 bottles a day....pedi says it's not enough...but he won't take more....please i'm not worried...ds is 22lbs!
I think T is trying to drop a bottle, so she would be at four a day, plus two or three solid meals. My pedi said that she may be down to 16 oz a day by nine months and he's not worried. I think every baby is different - have you spoken with your pedi?
DD only takes 3 bottles a day (each 8 oz) and 2 solid meals a day (sometimes 3, as we are gradually making that shift). One day she only took 2 bottles, but I think she wasn't feeling well that day... on avg. it's 3 bottles.
dd is definitely dropping. she is nursing or bottle 5 times a day and solids 2-3 times a day. last week she went from bottle/nurse every 2-3 hrs to every 4 hours on the dot.
