I just don't get it. I found a new pillow Bosom Baby and it's $54. Boppy's are $40. I'll end up buying the bosom baby but I would never spend that much for normal bed pillows or decorative pillows for my family room. Does anyone else feel this way?
My SIL got two at her shower a year ago so she just gave me one of them but i would have a hard time parting with $40-50 for a boppy. Can you try getting one on ebay?
I got a boppy at my shower. It killed me registering for it since tj maxx sometimes has them for $19.99. But my sister convinced me to do it. I found a couple bosom baby on ebay that i am going to bid on.
I got an amy coe boppy (about $45 at BRU) from a consignment shop for $16 - it looks BRAND NEW and even came with the zipper plastic bag! I bought a new slip cover as a back up, but really like the one it came with more. And the store I went to had PILES of them, ones not in the packaging were about $12. HTH!
Go with the My Brest Friend. It has come highly recommended from several moms and our lactation educator. They're about $45, so a midway point and so much more supportive than the boppy or even the bosom baby. I figure I"ll spend more time with that pillow during the day than I do my bed pillow (and I'm cheap with those as well), so I don't mind spending a little more.
I would have spent $100, that sucker came in sooooo handy, and made breastfeeding so. much. easier.
Try craigslist. The only thing is if someone else's milk gets on the pillow, I am not sure if you can wash the pillow. It being a sanitary purchase is up to your discretion.

I got this as well, and it's just like the boppy
