We call ours Peanut as well since thats what it looked like on the U/S but other times my DH will call the baby a 'he' and in turn I will call the baby a 'she'.
No, we don't know sex...but my SIL started calling our baby "James" waaay before we actually conceived b/c we all jokingly said that me and DH would be the ones to carry on the family name. So, it just stuck. My DH refuses to call it that, so he calls it by whatever fruit size it is. It went from "beaner" to "olive" to "plummy" to "limey". LOL...
Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.
When we told my brothers, my youngest (21) decided we should name it Leon if it's a boy. We all thought it was funny and it sort of stuck, so for now, it's Leon.
We call it Jellybean. My boyfriend missed the first u/s because I wasn't scheduled to have one. I was trying to describe it and that was all that came to mind. It stuck.
Re: What are your referring to the baby as??
James.

used to say peanut (but had another u/s and looked like a baby) haha
unfortunately, "it" comes out of my mouth and when typing sometimes haha but i try to be careful with what i say
i have begun to say Baby B (insert last name- B is our lastname initial)
or as my best friend says, "how's BB?" lol she just shortened it all together!
Bug
Most of the time we just say "sweet pea"
Sometimes though I'll call it "Issy", short for "Is it a girl or is it a boy?"
Alien Squid Baby.
DH refuses to call it Baby otherwise. He refers to it as the Fetus so Alien Squid Baby is a total upgrade.?
