1st Trimester

Cant seem to get warm!

I'm about 5 weeks along, and during the night I freeze! I have poor circulation to begin with, but I've upped to a duvet and a fuzzy blanket... I'm concerned about overheating the baby!

I also had a fever something fierce last night.. chills to go with it, so I was EXTRA cold. Tylenol helped break the fever and I'm fine this morning (if not a little sore from tenseness)...

I hope everything is okay.. :S

Re: Cant seem to get warm!

  • I hear ya! I'm freezing all the time too! I even had to bring a space heater to work to set by my desk! Don't worry about the baby though, you won't over heat it unless your body gets over 102. Stay warm and GL!

  • Ditto! I was wondering if it was a "symptom".

?I have a back heating pad that I sit on my lap to help me stay warm at work :) Works wonders?

  • I have the heat cranked in my classroom... The first thing people say when they walk in is "Hot enough?" Luckly, my students don't complain, so it's all good!!

  • I'm feeling more sensitive to cold too and I was reading that it's normal to feel cold during the 1st tri. Then later on you'll probably start to feel too hot. The joys of pregnancy!
