  there is a watch this thread link at the top of the OP. ?is that what you mean?

  yes.  I found a post I wanted to follow and I clicked that link... but now I don't know where to go to "watch" it... is there a place somewhere in my profile or something that keeps a list of posts I want to watch.

  I have not watched a thread. ?It used to be they sent you an email when a new reply was added.

  nope, now  you have to go to "all boards" and then on the right, in the tiniest size type ever, is a link for watched posts. With everything else on the screen, it can easily be missed.
